Under new ownership as of 5 months ago from the date of this post 1/12/25 They made our order FRESH to order which is not normal for a Chinese food place (this is a GREAT thing!)
Lady even gave us 2 complimentary egg rolls while we waited for them to cook our order fresh. We know it was fresh because the grill is in plain sight from the tables!
I'm used to the happy wok in Rowland heights, so this was a new and awesome experience at this happy wok in pomona off garey.
I tried the food, and it's delicious, totally recommended coming here. 5 star all the way!
We order one container of chow mein, one container of fried rice, a container of 3 items (BBQ pork, beef broccoli, Kung pow chicken), 1 egg roll and 3 cream cheese wonton for only $37!! This will feed a family of 3!! Phenomenal for today's food inflation prices!

They're super affordable as well, and they have good indoor seating and sell plants too, and fresh fruits while they're in season!

But after they shortened the hours they massively expanded the menu, now they have boba, smoothies, and other fun stuff!
Having tried the boba it's pretty good too, maybe not of the same tier as a teahouse but definitely better than even some boba shops.
I really like boba so trust that when I say it's good it's good.
The spicy chicken is bomb! 100% recommend it, it's what I usually get, the lo mein and fried rice are good too, and I like their...
Read moreI call this place Cr@ppy Wok, because I feel that it perfectly describes the experience of eating here. This place is worse than the usual Americanized Chinese fast food joint; vegetables in the different dishes looked pretty soggy and sad, and the meat was of similar quality also. To put it in perspective, Panda Express is far better and I don't even consider Panda to be any better than average. It all just tasted really off and neither me or my girl ate more that a a few bites before giving up on it. The only good thing they had were spring rolls and they couldn't even do simple math on those. One is a dollar, two is a $1.50, but I guess asking for three for $2.25 is just not possible....guess they can only sell spring rolls for $0.75 each in even numbered...
