Kebab G Stop — Restaurant in La Verne

Update 2024-11: Prices have gone up a bit, but the food is just as good and the staff was friendly as always.

Kebab G Stop may look unassuming, but the food at this place rocks.

We tried the chicken shawarma plate, chicken shawarma wrap and salmon plate. Each plate comes with choice of salad, rice or both. The wrap is simply a wrap, but still fantastic. Sides can include fries, hummus, tzatziki, baba ghanoush, garlic paste – just to mention a few.

During my visit, most of the customers were picking food up or taking it to go, so while it may not be packed, we could tell this was a popular place to eat.

The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but there was plenty of seating both in and outdoors. It was clean and the staff/owners were friendly and helpful. The portions were sizable and the prices fair too.

We stopped here because we were in the mood for some Mediterranean food on our way home. Our usual place was a bit out of the way of our route, so we stopped here instead. We didn't look it up or read reviews beforehand, so we weren't sure what to expect. We ordered chicken kebabs and beef shawarma, along with some pita bread and tzaziki. We were not at all disappointed. The food was amazing, and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. I don't usually leave reviews for restaurants, but I felt the need to do so for this place. They've only been there a few months, so they don't have many reviews yet, but based on our experience I'm sure this will be a popular stop in the months and years to come. Kabab G is a one stop shop if you are looking for good quality food at really affordable prices with utmost focus on hygiene, packaging & quality of the food.

They have a wide variety of plates and wraps which can come with many different sides. Must try items from the menu are the FALAFEL Plate with HUMMUS and GARLIC PASTE.

There isn't an iota of doubt about the owners commitment to the place as I myself have noticed on numerous occasions both of them being involved right from managing the store needs to actually cooking the food itself. Feels like you guys are just getting started and will soon soar to greater heights. All...
