Cashiers at this locations are rude & lazy. They see you standing calling out for their attention for help yet they don’t come to approach you and help. They keep pretending they don’t see or hear you. Or, they just stare at you, continues to chit chat with other co-workers and pretend to prolong that they’re doing something. They do not get care and get bothered by the fact that there is a long line of people who needs something waiting to be served. They don’t greet and welcome you at all. No condiments, napkin, or forks with your order either. And they give you a frowning face with an attitude when you ask for anything that was missing in your order. They’re not happy workers and I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO DINE IN at this location, nor order at this place. Their poor customer service and BAD NEGATIVE VIBES will ruin your day. PEOPLE DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE. The workers are rude, and BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL. Second, there are flies and insects that keeps flying while you’re eating. They don’t pay attention that there are plenty of those insects that comes out of the trash bin the moment you throw in your to-go box. The restroom is VERY DIRTY and SMELLS BAD. Third, the food amount for an XL combo is nothing compared to other Yoshinoya locations. They are stingy and you can truly tell that there is NO EFFORT on their part preparing the food. They just throw in the meat instead instead of at least arranging it, and they spread it so wide and far apart to make it look like they gave you enough. You definitely DO NOT get your moneys worth at this location. Fourth, the quality of the teriyaki chicken is so poor. They just steam it and then put teriyaki on top of it. Other locations, does fry the one side making the top feel somewhat crispy a little and awesome to eat the moment you bite it. If only you can rate ZERO to these cashiers, I would. I asked them for a cup so I can get some ice. They knew they are out of ice since morning (it’s past 3pm already and less busy) but they don’t tell you in advance even if the cashier knew. Don’t ask for napkins or condiments or they will just make you wait a long time and give you attitude as if you have to be sorry that you bothered them when it’s their job. They are LAZY AND UNCOURTEOUS. They don’t apologize either just to show courtesy because you know that they are supposed to given the fact that they are in a customer service industry. If I was the owner of this location, I would fire the no mannered lazy cashiers at this place. As for me, I SWORE I WOULD NEVER COME BACK AT THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN. DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND DONT EVEN COME NEAR THIS PLACE. SAVE YOUR DAY AND GO SOME PLACE ELSE. It’s NOT WORTH RUINING YOUR DAY WITH THE TYPE OF WORKERS THIS LOCATION HAS, SUCH LOW CALIBER CASHIERS THAT ARE UNHAPPY, UNPROFESSIONAL & UNFRIENDLY who only comes in to work AND NOT EARN THEIR PAY CHECK....
Read moreYoshimoya Pomona costumer service sucks here. Ordered 2 all beef combos no vegetables, an all beef XL combo, upon noodles. Got to the window the guy at the window repeated my order. I double checked and made sure they were all beef combo's. Even ordered 3 teriyaki sauces because the guy said they don't put teriyaki on the beef. Clearly understanding these were all beef combo's. Got home the 2 combo's had vegetables and the XL combo was all chicken. The only thing right were the upon noodles. Called the restaurant to let them know of the mistake. The first girl told me I was wrong. That's not what I ordered. I thanked her for telling me what I ordered. She became argumentative proceeded to go back and forth with me. I asked if she was the manager she said no. I asked to speak with the manager. After a long noisy wait. Deliberately making noise into the phone banging things in my ears. She gets back on the phone to see if I'm still there. Then says hold on the manager was coming. Another woman Jenny says she wasn't the manager but that she was she one in charger gets on the phone. Again I explained about being given the wrong order after confirming what I ordered at the window. She said that's right I confirmed the order so I was wrong. She became argumentative as well. I said no I confirmed the right order they got it wrong. I was already home live several cities away and how were they going to make it right. She was still being argumentative with me I told her I was going to call in the morning and speak to the manager. Like a little kid she said she was going to leave the manager a note telling him. I ordered wrong and that me getting the wrong food was my fault. I'm calling Yoshimoya to inform them/you that some thing is off with my order and this is how I'm treated??? Mistakes are sometimes made we all get that. We own it we make it right and we move on. We hope that our customers see our sincerity and come back but this? Shame on Jenny for not apologizing and owning the mistake her subordinates made. Shame on the store manager for not leaving someone in charge at night with no proper customer service training. All of them need retraining. My wife and I own 2 business we have subordinates. If anyone of them treated our customers/clients like that it would be a write up and retraining. Yoshimoya as a whole fell very...
Read moreThis place has been around for over two decades i believe? Possibly longer. I used to eat here when i lived in chino and pomona. Sometimes the cashiers had attitude and i had incidents of arguments that were quite unnecessary back in the early 2000s. They were my favorite fast food place back then i loved them. Back in 2018 the last year i lived in california i still liked this place their original menu items are classics it invokes nostalgia now to people like me that ate at this company locations for over two decades. In 2018 there was a woman middle aged of asian descent who would sound like she had a southern dialect was not very polite and sometimes unnecessarily rude. I still think about this place even today for the food so its a testament to how beloved their chicken and beef plates are. I miss the food from yoshinoya terribly. I currently live in oklahoma with my girlfriend. I miss the food so much. If i am ever in california to visit my mother i would want to eat here again and i might cry. I took a date to a yoshinoya when i was younger. I picked up food after going to the gym many times in my younger years. One of the last meals i had in california in the last month there was yoshinoya. I cant believe i miss this place so much. Service was terrible at times but it invokes so much nostalgia now. When i think of california one place i think about...
