IHOP — Restaurant in Pompano Beach

My husband and I decided to have brunch at this newly renovated IHOP which seems appealing on the outside and inside when you walk in. But as soon as we walked in, you can feel the toxicity in the workplace environment. Servers not friendly or welcoming, one older server was yelling at the host because he gave the customer her name, it took 20 min for our waitress to greet us and when she did she just appeared and said what can I get you? Not hello, Sorry for the wait, my name is… The waitress was impossible to find when you needed her, she was MIA most of the time. When she came around nearby tables, she wouldn’t check on us, we would have to grab her attention or she would just dart off. Our food was disappointing. My poached eggs were way over cooked, by the time I got new ones out it was like 15 min later and my food was practically cold. The waitress serving the table behind us, Nicole, had somewhat of a split personality. She would greet her table in a bubbly-like manner, as soon as she would turn around after taking the order she would talk smack when walking away about the people at the table, cursing under her breath, not thinking twice about the customers around her possibly watching this poor behavior. Worse service!👎🏻 He took us to our booth were we patiently waited for quite some time to be acknowledged by ERIN,the waitress,who never approached us or greeted us…nothing.However she kept on passing by us taking care of three customers that arrived AFTER we were sitted,she took their orders and SOCIALIZED with those THREE new costumers,ERIN decided to totally ignore us the whole time,the funny part is that she had to go by our booth area to tend her sección..again completely ignoring the fact we arrived there first than those other three costumers.What was that?..👎🏻Finally this guy BARRIE approached our booth and asked us if we were served,we said No and explained what was going on…to have to hear his lecture,raising his voice…uncalled for,nasty actitud…What’s wrong with these employees? It seems to me they feel confident enough to talk to your patrons however they like and to simply NOT SERVICE THEM..We were respectful and reasonable ,had lots of patience considering all the time we waited for someone to show up… and being ignored.👎🏻 We are so regretful we stayed there..you didn’t deserve our business… A HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE.. You need employees that are willing to solve situations like ours and do what it takes so the costumer leaves satisfied and comes back…this crew has NO idea how it’s Done..ERIN AND BARRIE provided ZERO SERVICE…We were there 09/21/2024...

Well first and foremost I have been here twice and will not be back both times I have gone food was totally disgusting not cooked correctly or even brought the wrong stuff to the table. Second experience I arrived at 3:00 it took 10 minutes for them to even acknowledgment when they weren't even busy and when I finally got seated and they took my order it took 55 minutes for my food to come out completely cold and totally wrong. There was 12 customers in this IHOP watch four or five get up and leave with unhappy service or totally wrong food which I can't blame them. I am completely convinced that this young staff has no clue of what to do or even how to work. Either shut this location down or totally higher new staff that are willing to work. Either way I could care less because I will not be going back there. Just really stun how you could screw up a quick two egg breakfast. The hash browns are totally burnt The bacon was far beyond no return and the eggs I asked for over easy came well done almost burnt and like I said when it came it was ice cold so yeah that is a no-go for me for the second time they will not be a third sorry IHOP won't be seeing me again. This gets a zero star...
