If I could give this location no stars I would. I visited this drive-through at this Popeyes location on September 24th @10:07pm. I was met with shockingly poor customer service, primarily due to the manager on duty. When I drove up to order my two-piece white meat mild with fries and a strawberry soda, I was informed that the loudspeaker was broken. The staff looked dysfunctional starting with the drive-thru attendant who kept asking me what my order was after repeating it 5 times. “2 piece white meat mild with fries and mango lemonade”. I then proceeded to place my order directly at the window, only to be told by the employee and the manager that there was no white meat available, and I'd have to wait six minutes. I should have already seen this would be a problem when the manager was speaking abrasive to the employee at the window for not “cashing me out yet”.
I placed my order at 10:07 AM and returned inside at 10:25 AM as my food still hadn’t arrived despite all other cars having been served. Upon entering, the manager immediately confronted me with an exasperated “What do you need?” Rather than addressing the delay, the manager escalated the situation by yelling at me, claiming she was in charge and didn’t care about my concerns. Her lack of professionalism was startling; she even cursed and seemed to take pleasure in mocking me by blowing kisses.
When I expressed my desire to merely receive my order and leave, the manager started mocking me with kissing sound gestures telling me “what am I going to do about if they don’t give me my food”. She accused me of being aggressive, and when I asked her to check the cameras she proceeded to walk away behind the fry stand and continue mocking me and using profanity. The employee at the drive thru seems to support her ridiculous behavior. I guess arguing with customers is a sport for them. It's appalling that such behavior took place openly, with other employees eventually stepping in to sort out my order, though the manager herself did nothing to resolve the problem she helped create.
As someone who works for the Broward Sheriff’s Office and deals with the public regularly, I found this manager’s conduct completely unacceptable and lacking in common courtesy. Her behavior sets a terrible example for her staff and suggests a serious lack of leadership.
I urge Popeyes to address this situation with swift accountability. This can't be the first time the manager has exhibited such appalling behavior, and it surely won’t be the last unless corrective measures are taken. The reputation of this location can only suffer further if this level of service is allowed to continue.
Please improve this experience for future customers, as it’s crucial that everyone, regardless of their patience or understanding, receives respectful and...
Read moreAfter a long day at work followed by hours of appointments after I was really not in the mood to cook dinner. Happily I passed by this Popeyes and decided to give myself a break by stopping for dinner. This was my first visit and I was extremely pleased to see how clean and nice everything was in the restaurant when I entered. The staff was friendly and took care with everything like making sure to package the coleslaw separately from the hot foods and taking the time to explain the different sauces to me. Chicken comes in mild and spicy and being a wimp I went with the mild. I settled on two chicken tender meals, one with the creamy coleslaw and one with the macaroni and cheese for my daughter who was very happy to see the Popeyes bag when I finally made it home. I found the portion of the chicken to be generous, crispy, and flavorful. The meals also came with a flaky buttery biscuit. I usually get a sweet tea but they have the Coke freestyle machine here so I couldn't resist playing around with the sodas. My two meals with two drinks and two apple pies came to $20. The apple pies were similar to the ones I have had at McDonalds and were a sweet way to end the meal. I was also in and out quickly which is always a plus when you are tired. The reasonable prices, friendly staff, and delicious chicken have now made me a...
Read moreThis has to be one THE WORST Popeyes EVER! Just because you’re considered “in the hood” doesn’t necessarily mean you have to hold to that title. I used the Popeyes app to order my food. Yes, I understand that I mistakenly chose the wrong store. I was trying to pick the Popeyes off Commercial Blvd because it’s next to my job. So because the Popeyes on west Atlantic is my neighborhood store it’s set for that store. Not realizing it I made my order. Upon realizing it, I tried calling the Atlantic branch 🗣 10 TIMES!!! No one answered or even attempted to answer. So I had to drive ALL the way from Tamarac just to get my order. When I did arrive the Atlantic store I asked the employee does the phones work? She replied yes, the ringer is off he being Jean (the manager) don’t like to answer. He was also standing there not even acknowledging me or the situation at hand. I spent over half my lunch break driving because of the inconvenience of someone not picking up the phone. This store needs to do better. I’m a manager at my job I know customer service all too well and would never treat anyone like this. And to top it off the young lady on front counter talking about what she don’t have time for instead of helping a customer take care of the problem. Very VERY dissatisfied...
