First time here and the employees who were downstairs were nice and helpful but when we got to the second floor, we headed to the bar to ask a question to the ladies there. They were having a conversation when we walked up and we ended up waiting awkwardly as they finished their conversation even though they knew we were there. After waiting to ask a quick question we were informed immediately that it was a private party (the employees who let us in mentioned this to us already but still allowed us in), in what we took as a dismissive tone. This establishment certainly requires thorough investigation due to its appalling conduct and failure to maintain a secure and safe environment. On our visit, we noticed an unmanageable crowd outside the premises, which the security personnel failed to control effectively. Instead of diffusing the tension, their actions escalated the situation, leading to the deployment of pepper spray. More distressingly, there were several instances of physical harm caused by the security personnel, including a distressing incident involving a member of our group. My goodness where do I begin…I recently used their catering option for a funeral for a close family member and I take every service that someone provides me very seriously. So when I say the experience I had with Chef Emile was one that ‘s merited its weight in recognition…I mean it. The quality of the food—wonderful, his punctuality—noteworthy, the way he treated/cared/spoke with us—exceptional. This type of service is few and far between. I have absolutely no complaints, zero.
