Wendy's — Restaurant in Pompano Beach

This location was not far from our hotel so I did a pick up order from my app. (Which btw also gave me issues for this location only. I shouldve taken it as a sign but sadly I didn't). It was a 5 minute drive. We entered wendys, went to the counter, and then ignored as if we werent standing there. I told the person we were picking up online order and he started walking around as if he had no idea where that would even be. Finally someone else helped and I got the bag which was standing on the shelf behind the counters. I asked if they have little cups for ketchup and they looked at me as if I had 2 heads and told me people just use the pump at the station to pump it onto their food. I wasn't going to continue that conversation so I said thank you, goodbye. When we brought the food back (burgers, fries, nuggets, chicken sandwich) it was cold, didn't taste fresh, as if it was pre-made prior to someone ordering it. Even my chicken nugget and french fry loving kid who has never let a french fry go to waste, refused to finish his food because it simply did not taste good. We threw out most of it because it was that bad. Also, I used a reward for a free chicken sandwich and they didn't include it, which doesn't matter anyway because the chicken sandwich that we did pay for was gross anyway. Overall poor service and definitely poor food. This location definitely made me appreciate our local one more, which is the complete opposite. I had no idea it could be this bad considering...

Today I figured I would give this location another chance to make the past experiences up. Boy was I wrong! The one improvement I did see, was the girl in the drive thru was nice and not arguing with the other employees as I have experienced in the past. Now the negative... I went to buy a total of 4 breakfast sausage, egg, with cheese on the biscuits... 2 we're combos - both large, one had hot coffee the other cold. With a little cream and sugar in both and wanted it on the side as well. Total bill $19.86. Upon arriving back at the job ( literally 2 blocks away), all 4 people's biscuits were hard! (old), one of the potato wedge containers had literally 6 wedges in it. It was half full, the other was barely to the top and on top of all that they were Cold!! Now onto the coffee... The hot one was extremely sweet, to the point you could not drink it.... The cold one had no sugar. I received 4 creamers on the side and no sugar. The experience was awful yet again. (At least they got the food order correct this time. 🤦 Needless to say, neither I nor my many coworkers will be visiting the establishment ever again!!! If you want Wendy's, go find another location to give...

This place usually comes in clutch when its late and I need a good burger and has almost never done me wrong. That being said I just gotta make a quick statement so a manager can see and do something about it so it can stay that way. I just went to get a doublestack bourbon burger and the dude at the drive thru was trying to take everyone’s orders so fast. At first I was like oh alright this guy is pretty efficient, but when I got home I realized I got a completely different burger from what I asked. I drove back and the guy a was trying to tell me I was placing my order wrong or something. He gave me the correct burger but I checked it again before I drove off and it was still only a single. I wanted what I paid for so I went through the drive thru a third time and went straight to the window and explained that I needed a double like I asked and would even just take an added patty and cheese. He brought it back with a new patty and a cold piece of cheese on top. I love this wendys but this new guy at the window thinks he’s being efficient when in reality he’s probably messing up everyone’s orders. I’ll take this review down once something is...
