Mack's American Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Pompton Lakes

PROS: This place was a very neat bar/restaurant. It was very clean, had a nice bar set up along with a nice dining setup. The food was good and the prices were right. Our waitress, Suzanne had to be one of the most friendly waitresses that have ever served us. The owner, Craig, was also very upbeat and helped her out. The bathrooms were also very clean and had individual towels and a laundry basket rather than the air blowers that take 7 years to dry your hands

CONS: The bathrooms were one person bathrooms which can cause a line and there was only street parking

Party of 5 went to this establishment while in area for a wake, a friend who was not apart of the 5 recommended it. I was reluctant to go to a BAR and grill thinking what kind of food will they have. To my surprise not only did they have full menu but food specials. I ordered a steak sandwich which turned out to be real cut of meat (not shaved steakems). They also had a nice selection of tap beer. Couple of people in our party ordered 2 shots which macks also had full assortment of alcohol. Ordered a meal for the family from DoorDash at 6PM and was told it would be at my house by 6:24. I patiently waited as the clock went past 6:30, then 6:40 and then I sat and watched on the app. It said that the DoorDash driver was waiting for my food, then at about 6:47 they cancelled my order out of nowhere with no explanation.
