My mother was super excited to see a Dunkin Donuts while we were on vacation from across the state, we don't have one within a two hour drive and she doesn't get out much, so it's a treat when we get to go. The shop was nice and clean. The cashier however, was terrible. As soon as we came in she started smacking her gum and rolled her eyes at another employee. My mother asked how the boxes of the donut holes came and she told her they only came in a box when you got 25, and kind of laughed. My mother wanted to take some home to share with her husband so she ordered 50. The cashier sighed and acted like we were asking too much of her by ordering so many. It seemed like having a customer was a hassle to her. There were 5 different kinds of donut holes and we wanted an assortment. The cashier started getting 10 of each, which we assumed was standard, it makes sense. We asked her if we could do 15 chocolate glazed, 5 plain, and 10 each of the remaining 3 kinds, which would equal out to the 50 we ordered. The cashier got very puzzled and said it didn't equal 50 then and it would be too many and we would need to order more. No matter how we explained it to her, she did not understand. And while it wasn't a problem to explain the math to her, the issue was her attitude. When I tried to step in and help my mother explain more clearly, the cashier said "Uhm, no, we only need 1 person to explain. Too many of ya'll talkin at once got me all confused." And she continued to talk to us with an attitude and laughed when we showed her the math. It may sound like just a simple issue with her math skills, but the lady had an attitude the entire time. I myself am a store manager back home and do all my own hiring, firing and training of staff and no way on earth would this lady have made the cut in my books. Not only did she look unprofessional as soon as we walked in, 30-40 some years old with an eyebrow ring, smacking her gum loudly, rolling her eyes, she was not able to do simple math, seeming put off by the customer AND a bad attitude, but after we got to the car, we discovered she only put 47 in the box. It's also worth mentioning that after our stop here, another passenger in the car wanted to stop at Tim Horton's for a specific drink and I myself ordered something there and the cashier was great. I asked for a custom assortment of donuts and they were happy to do so and no math problems. I love Dunkin, but poor employees will drive your customers to another place, and sadly for you, there is one literally right down the road. Time to start having some standards when it comes to employees! Perhaps you could borrow some from the Tim Horton's to...
Read moreToday was the second time that I placed an online order and when I went to pick it up, the doors were locked.
The staff had no problem for filling all the orders to show their computer system that orders were fulfilled, but would not allow anyone inside to actually pick up their order and advised all the pick up customers to join the very long drive-thru line (around building and to Opdyke).
Online ordering is supposed to be convenient supposed to make it a quick and easy pick up.
While I was just waiting for breakfast for my children. Another gentleman was doing a DoorDash and had to cancel the order which resulted in him canceling himself getting paid for that order.
The staff, including the owner, did not care that it was affecting other peopleâs time and money. Zero apology. Just excuses. They just cared that they were getting too many orders in a short period of time that they wanted to fulfill.
Doesnât make a lot of sense if those orders canât be picked up due to doors being locked. I had to continue to bang on the door before they would open and they kept saying they couldnât keep up with the orders coming in.
They had FIVE employees inside and had ~10 pick up orders on the counter. Make it make sense. Unfortunately, my kids love our tradition of donut Friday and this location is right by our home. Most likely will not return due to the lack of care...
Read moreI have the BR app, which I had $4 on my card and free scope and upgrade waffle redeemable coupon on my phone. I ask for triple scope ALL Oreo and cashier gave me chocolate chip. I stated that not what I ordered and she gave me ALL Oreo with an attitude. When I tried to scan my mobile coupons she stated that her scanner didn't work. So we went to another register and tried scanning again and she messed the transaction again. Owner came out and tried to resolved the issue but he was not listening. With all my coupons my transaction should had costed me $0, but I still ended up paying $6.19, for something that if was done correctly should had been free. The end result was my coupons was no longer on my phone, but according to BR it didn't processed.... So clearly their register scan some thing or else my coupons would still be on my phone. O called to ask for manager and Bonnie the shift supervisor told me that I would have to wait in the morning to speak to the owner in reference to get a refund for an transaction error on BR part.... I am...
