Blacksmith BBQ — Restaurant in Pontotoc

Food was ok. Portions were small for the price paid for a bbq plate and chicken strip plate with fries. Nothing experienced stood out or warranted such high reviews found on Google. Visited at noon on a Saturday and the place was dead. Another point of sale sytem that asks for gratuity before food or or service is provided. My daughter and I chose this over Spuds based on Google reviews. We drove by Spuds to see what we missed out on and it was packed. Wished we would have gone there instead. Out first time eating in Pontotoc and let Google reviews guide us. Looks like we need to validate a bit more before blindly trusting...

Me and my wife stopped here while browsing around in town, absolutely loved it! She had chicken tenders and fries, and I had a Philly sandwich and fries. Had to have been the best Philly I have ever put in my mouth! The workers there are extremely kind, and the atmosphere was a relaxing down-home atmosphere. Good prices too, we both ate and left a tip for around $22. Definitely...
