I ordered for delivery from the website, it’s super misleading as it never said anything about Uber being the one to deliver it in the ordering process. It was just being ordered from their website it appeared. I just moved here and in 5 weeks I already have ordered here multiple times, usually for carry out. I have thus far had a great experience. I was planning to place a larger order next week for my daughter’s birthday party but I surely will not be now. But I am so so glad to know that ahead of time! I just paid $51.70 for 2 pizzas to be delivered. I selected for the pizza to NOT be left on the porch and put in the instructions to just knock..No one ever came and then I received a text from Uber stating my pizza has been delivered with a photo of it sitting on someone else’s porch. The mishap wasn’t the problem exactly.. The problem was that when I called the restaurant, I was first told to contact whoever I ordered from/Uber. I explained I did not order through Uber and I don’t even have an uber account so that can’t be correct.. Then they say to contact Toast which is whom their website is through and I can find their contact info in the confirmation email. It was the owner that I spoke with too sadly!! In the email, it says “issues with your order? Call Lovezolla’s”. Upon further looking, I realized he knew full well that Toast is not whom I call to get my money back from.. That’s simply who your website is powered through and the company your POS system is through.. But YOU have to be the one to issue the refund through your Toast account, Toast does not just issue people’s refunds duh.. You don’t even contact Toast for issues with your order whatsoever and you knew that when you told me that’s what I needed to do. Therefore you clearly intentionally gave me the run around about getting my money back for the order that I never received, which is just crooked to do to somebody. So I’ll be disputing the charge I suppose. I didn’t even actually want a refund initially, I just wanted to be able to receive what I paid for at some point which is totally fair. So be careful ordering for...
Read moreWe just landed and our hotel reception suggests we order from here. We order 9 toppings with only 5 toppings because they dont have an option for 5 toppings. Precisely say no other meat except "Chicken". 45 mins later pizza comes and NO CHICKEN. After I call back and tell about it, the manager asks me not to eat the pizza as she wants to show the cook because cook argues saying he did put chicken. So I have to wait another 45 mins!!!!! Really??? That's what Savannah's customer service is ? Back in Philly they will accept their fault and send a new one but never ask the customer NOT TO EAT THE ONE THEY SENT 1ST. Manager was not polite, indirectly meant "I am saying wrong because cook argues he added Chicken" and hung up without completing the conversation!!! Worst start of the vacation. Wouldn't ever recommend them to anyone!
Ah and guess what the 2nd pizza arrived and we sent the 1st pizza back and waited to actually eat dinner for 2 hours because even though we didn't sign up to be genea pigs for their cooks to learn we were forced to. But for the so called "Family made pizza" they didn't even have the courtesy to call and apologize. That's why any TOM DICK AND HARRY cannot just get up and start a Pizza place. For running a business there r schools who teach you customer service and ethics rather than wake up 1 morning and start making pizzas ,charging people money, make them Guinea pigs without permissions.. 1st and absolute last of them , changed my outlook for family based...
Read moreI sadly had to downgrade my previous review of this place from 5 stars to 1 star. I ordered via DoorDash spent $65 on pizza, chicken parm and a cheese cake. First off the pizza was raw in some spots the raw dough still visible underneath. Completely grossed me out. The cake topper which made me downgrade my review was the chicken parm incident. I ordered chicken parm entree side of meatball. It upcharged my price understandably to $18.00 so what should have been delievered was chicken parm entree with side of meatball seems pretty simple right? NOPE I was given a handful of spaghetti with 4 lousy micro meatballs no chicken parm in sight ! I immediately followed up with DoorDash and they refunded me the price of the meal. The side salad that came with the entree had an off taste I had to spit it out that’s how bad it was. All the produce on the salad was about to rot. I hope this place improves for the sake of its existing customers. Used to be my go to Pooler pizzeria not anymore! Also anytime I order here on weekends the food used to be a total miss. Today is Sunday which was the worst meal I’ve ever gotten from here. This leads me to believe all the kids work here on the weekends and there’s no actual authority or quality check going on. If you own a pizzeria Sundays and weekends are your busiest!! Owners should be there 24-7 doesn’t seem like this is the...
