New Super Buffet — Restaurant in Pooler

The food is great! We usually go there sometimes after church after receiving our S.S. And they actually clean their shrimp in their Broccoli & Shrimp dish! But recently they have gone WAY UP in price! I can see charging more for a person that is LARGE, because they will eat more. I fill my plate once and I'm done. So the cost outweighs what I eat. 😨They DO NOT give a Senior's discount.😫 This hurts! It cost 2 of us over $30 after tax 🤯 this last time we went & we WILL NOT go back. They are getting out of hand in price for a "come as you are Buffet".😬 Most of the waitresses are very sweet & helpful. However...I have a Service Dog, which is allowed to go everywhere with me & had to "fight" with them to let him in.😠 Several policemen just finished eating there, and I told the Cashier: "Should I go get one of those Cops that just walked out?" The cashier then let us in. No matter...we won't be back either way. If you can afford for 2 people to eat for $30+ dollars for a "come as you are" restaurant, they do have great food. If you have a Service Dog, expect a fight to get in. This Restaurant is located on Hwy 80 in Pooler, Ga just east of Pooler Pkway. Look good, cause it's located back off the road. Better still, find a cheaper place to eat. If everyone in the area would stop going to Super Buffet, I bet they would lower the price &/or give the Seniors a...

My wife and I went there Sunday for a second time, everything was going great until it was time for dessert, my wife got vanilla pudding as well as some other things, then suddenly she asked me about something in the pudding, as I got her plate closer to my eyes I noticed it was a fly, it was so nasty and then I got a hold of the waitress and when she came over by my table I showed Her the fly and I told her I needed to talk to the manager, without getting any reply from Her she just took the plate and before I reacted she was already gone with the plate, I was gonna take a picture but I guess I was very slow or She was well trained for this kind of situations, We waited another 5 min for the manager but he never showed up, so all that time I was paying attention to see if anybody was going to replace the tray with the pudding but nobody did, as We were ready to pay, I was asked how everything was, I was gonna tell him about the fly when he was like....OH, YOU ARE THE ONE WITH THE FLY? I was gonna say something but He said: I WILL GIVE YOU A 4 DLLS. DISCOUNT OK OK OK, And I swear I could not believe what was happening, I couldn't say anything, We were still in shock, so we just left. We will never go back to this buffet...

So, this is a long waited review. New Supper Buffet had become one I favorite restaurants to go to whenever I was in Pooler. The food was usually very tasty. I decided to go with my two sons on the night of Christmas Eve, because I felt that it would be the perfect place for us to enjoy a night out together. The food was very good, and we enjoyed the night. It wasn't until our server politely brought us refills for our sweet tea. I didn't notice until a minute or two later as I grabbed my glass to take a sip. A bent up, chewed up straw popped up out of my drink. It was not my straw. I really wonder how that straw ended up in my cup. The only conclusion I can come up with is that it must have come from a previous customers cup. I will not spell it out anymore than that, but I will leave it up to you to make up your mind as to how this could have happened. I can say I have not been back since, because I feel like if they could brazenly pour back someone else's unfinished tea and serve it to an unforseen customer, there's no end to what else may be going on with the food....
