My wife and I went last night, and we were thoroughly impressed. The menus are in English, and that helped a lot. The pictures on the menu board don't do the food justice, though. The prices are higher than you might expect, but the amount of food more than makes up for it. We started with 2 Empanada Pabellon and 2 Empanada beef; they were bigger than any empanada I have ever had, as well as a hefty amount of filling. My wife ordered the Zuliana burger with a beef patty, ham, a fried egg, cheese, a cole slaw, shoestring potatoes, and a delicious sauce. The beef patty was dense and not juicy, but the flavor was there. I got the Patacon with shredded beef, pork, and sweet plantains. If you ask, they have a spicy green sauce that has a nice kick but is very flavorful. We were very impressed with the staff, and the food was just incredible. We will definitely...
Read moreI tried their 'arepas' for dinner about two weeks ago. The menu it's little hard to figure out for those like me who just want a 'basic' arepa. The help from the lady at the counter was kind of sassy, which meant no much help from her, just added confusion. Foods were called by menu item numbers and it didn't help I didn't know their menu. I ordered two #12s or something like that LOL whatever...so two arepas with cheese, a cheese empanada, a patacon/cheese, and a passion fruit juice. I waited long enough, too long, but the food was hot and good. The arepas are fresh and just the same way it's made at home. This visit was nothing special for me, I just didn't want to make dinner at home. BTW $8 for an arepa with shredded white cheese feels so wrong. I did spend close to forty dollars on that order... what's happening to the price of arepas? LOL By now you can guest this next part correctly, I...
