Biggby Coffee — Restaurant in Pooler

had heard about this on some national coffee list and seen it in SC, but only found this location closer to me recently. stopped by, mostly because the Thai food place was closed between dining hours. i was recommended the campfire smores coffee with the crunchy little cookie and toffee? bits, which was really good and the ham and cheese bagel sandwich which was also good. i barely remember pricing but it's in-line with most coffee places and probably cheaper than Just Love (though, what isn't?). what i was impressed with were two of the girls working here, they seemed genuinely enthusiastic to work there, much like the early Starbucks era with a service focus and caffeinated baristas. these days, most places are staffed with souless Squidwards, who tell you "everything they sell is good" but with laughably zero enthusiasm and honesty. if you cannot get motivated to work with all that access to caffeine then i don't know how...

We dinec in, and enjoyed our time with such friendly staff, ready to take our orders! We had 2 coffees, mine was a caramel cold foam cold brew and my wife got a tan line drink. The store started in Lansing, Michigan. My brother-in- law is from Michigan and sends us Biggby Coffee every Christmas. The black and tan. Delicious, smooth and easy on the stomach. We love it and we love this store! There is one other location in Roswell, GA, but also closer there are stores in the Charleston area . Somewhat inconvenient location for gas station quality coffee and baked goods.

Staff was friendly as was the owner. Location is clean but is really lacking on quality ( no fault of the owner or staff because this is a chain ) Baked goods are on par with Sam’s club (frozen and defrosted donuts) and no whole milk is available ( which is an obvious cost cutting measure- so this place cares about volume rather than quality.
