March 5th, 2021 at 2.30pm. I went thru drive thru and for the 2 for 5 sourdough burgers. At the window the girl presented a blue bucket for me to throw my card into instead of using her hand. I asked her to just take the card. I didn't have sanitizer in my car and was going to have to dig it out where a million ppl have already put their hands. She snatched it without a word then handed the bucket with my card in it like i said.... Mgr standing right there to do a drawer change. Then i asked for her to hand me the card instead of digging it out line she had to go hand it to me. She closed the window and i heard them talking about me!! The rude way she handled it i just knew she was going to have someone mess with my food and when i got to the window they had me pull forward. I called the mgr from there and refused to eat the food and on the phone the mgr would not.... Would not tell me her name! So i said i wanted my money back and eventually someone (not the mgr) brought my receipt and said it would be back in my card. I very politely totally the person it was the mgrs job to bring it to me and apologize since she hadn't up to that point, when the mgr told me it was policy due to covid, she hung up. Read moreUpon making our order, my fiance was told to pull forward and park passed the window where a sign said to park in case other customers food was prepared faster than ours. After waiting 40 minutes, my fiance decided to call BK and ask what was taking so long. I watched at least 7-10 customers drive around us, whom had already received their order. The employee said our order was placed on the wrong side after it was prepared, and forgotten about. I never am one to write a very negative review, but after 20 minutes, if I had been an employee working drive through (which is the only option due to COVID) I would have noticed our car still, and at least walked outside and asked us why we were still sitting there.. Some workers get so caught up in numbers and timing, that they forget how important customer service is. The boy who answered the phone was so respectful and I give him 5 stars for actually getting our food him self and bringing it to my fiance. I am from San Antonio, Texas and I'm just visiting here and I can tell you in San Antonio we don't have service like this anywhere! Every single employee was extremely friendly and professional. The food was exactly how it's supposed to look and taste and was done before I was even finished filling my drink. In fact as I was filling my drink an employee brought me my food on the tray and even seated me where I wanted to sit carrying the food for me! The facility was very clean and in fast food restaurants that is a rarity where I come from. My kids weren't with me, but had they been they would have loved the playplace!
