134 Grille — Restaurant in Poquoson

Today we went to 134 Grille for the first time and ate there for breakfast. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive. Portions are very generous. My husband had their breakfast bowl. He said the bacon is thick and tastes wonderful. Eggs were cooked perfect as asked- medium, no runny whites! The sausage gravy was delicious. I had a cheese omelet which was cooked fluffy! so light and delicious. Also had their potatoes and onions. They are lightly seasoned, just right. The biscuits are also light and fluffy. Not dense and heavy, not crumbling everywhere. Just perfect. We eyeballed the lunch menu and we will be back to try that too! Looks delicious! a must try! This did not disappoint at all! WOW, what an amazing place! I wish I could give 134 Grille 5000 stars; it's worthy of them all! We ate breakfast and everything was magnificent! I had Charlie's Burrito. It was served nice and hot and stayed that way to the very last bite! There was a taste of breakfast in every single bit, yum! My husband had Mama Mary with grits, bacon and a biscuit. The grits were the creamier creamier than any we've had. The biscuit was fresh and the bacon crispy. The service was superb and everyone was super friendly and they engaged us in great conversation! If we lived closer than 4 hours away, we would be regular customers! If you live in the area or are just passing through, you've got to stop here for breakfast or lunch or maybe both. Where do I start? The food = AMAZING!

I just finished a breakfast burrito and it was SO good! Everything tasted fresh, and the portion size was perfect. Plenty of meat inside the burrito, the potatoes were cubed and cooked just right. I also got a side of Corned Beef Hash and it seriously might be the best hash I’ve ever tasted, hands down. I’ll have to try it a few more times just to make sure 😉

The restaurant looks very modern, but still retains that old school diner feel that we don’t get to see very much these days. Very clean and well kept, with somewhat of an open kitchen so you can see what’s going on behind the scenes.

I am definitely going to be a repeat customer here, and I’m going to start referring everyone I know in the area to check...
