I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for many years and have always enjoyed the food, which is consistently excellent. However, I was very disappointed by a recent experience. An older woman who works there (possibly the owner, as she is always present) raised her voice at me after misunderstanding my order. She yelled so loudly that the entire dining area became silent, which left me feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable.
What she may not realize is how often I have recommended this restaurant to others and how much I’ve supported it over the years, even choosing it over other Thai restaurants in the area. While the food is outstanding, the customer experience also matters. On several occasions, I’ve noticed that phone orders are abruptly ended without a simple “thank you,” which feels dismissive.
I understand cultural or generational differences may shape communication styles, but courtesy and respect are universal values. Even if one customer may not seem significant, it’s important to acknowledge that respectful treatment helps build loyalty and trust. At the very least, an apology when misunderstandings occur would go a long way in maintaining positive relationships with...
Read moreI rarely leave a bad review because i want local businesses to thrive. But i also think they need honest feedback. Unfortunately, our takeout was some of the worst I've had in a long time. We had two curries (vegetable & pork), a side of sticky rice, pad thai, and spring rolls. The food was generally tasty when expected.
The flavor was just okay, but the vegetables were frozen, Birdseye quality (process cut carrots and beans), with giant chunks of potatoes. The pork version was much smaller and had just enough curry to cover the little bit of meat. The $3 side of sticky rice came in a sandwich bag inside of a carton and was clumped like it had been microwaved in the baggy. The pad thai look like it was the noodle scraps and had just 2 vegetable pieces in it. The only redeeming factor was the spring rolls.
We have tried several Thai spots locally and abroad, so we know what quality is. They used to have a good reputation, but this time, it certainly didn't live up to its past. I hope they make some supply improvements and not continue to cut corners...
Read moreMediocre Thai food but it’s the best you’re gonna get in this area. The pad Thai lacks meat and don’t take people seriously on spice levels when asked (spoiler: you’re not Asian enough to handle thai hot). They have these tray that you have to ask for peanuts, spices, and fish sauce. It’s always a chore having to ask them for it and their attitudes suck sometimes, oh I’m sorry can I please get the spice tray Queen? I don’t consider myself the friendliest person but when you are give cash and keep the rest, you don’t look up and say thank you? I’ve also noticed my pad Thai portion shrink along side with fewer meats. Chicken is not terribly expensive and they probably get the discount chicken breast from food lion. Their spring rolls or summer rolls also pretty bad, they use iceberg lettuce...
