This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant. As we walked into the establishment you are confronted with a sign on the door saying they are increasing their prices. We entered and they just said to seat ourselves wherever we wanted. One of the employees came over and asked what we wanted to drink and we ordered water and 3 boba teas. They did let us know they were out of one of the flavors and we changed our order, when the drinks arrived they got the whole order messed up. The most senior member of their staff brought the drinks and acted as if she was put out to even have to deal with guests at the restaurant. She then informed us that the other flavors we ordered were out of stock and asked what we wanted. It took 15 to 30 minutes for them to take our order and then another 20 minutes to get our appetizers. At that time we asked for some napkins and they said they ran out and offered some togo silverware that had a flimsy little napkin. After another 20 minutes half of the table got their food and none of the sides that came with the soups. Then we waited another 20 to 30 minutes for anyone to bring the rest of the meals and we had to ask for the sides for the soup. By the time we got the sides the soup was already cold, and caused a poor dining experience. Then when they came to refill our drinks they spilled the water on the table and I had to use my sad excuse of a napkin to clean their mess. After the meal was finished, I went to use the bathroom to wash my hands and they had the audacity to ask the guests to wash their hands for the safety of the employees. While I was waiting to use the restroom, the most senior employee came out of the women's restroom and I wanted to ask if it was a health violation to not have something for the guests to use to wipe their hands off during dinner. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and they were having a bad day. After washing my hands they were out of paper towels and I approached them at the counter and they said they didn't have any and they said they could give me another little togo packet and I was beyond angry. Let's just say that I am so disappointed with the whole experience and I would suggest that nobody put themselves through this excuse of a restaurant and...

This place USED to be amazing. Most recently was a pick up order. I came in and there were 2 pick up orders on the counter. She asked what did I order. I told her and she pointed to a bag and Mumbled something. She printed a receipt, said sign the top copy, and walked away! She went over to the booth in the corner. Not sure if she was with co workers or friends. Either way, she never said thank you, come again, etc. Also, I could have easily of taken that other pick up order. I got the food home. The Pho broth was bland. Even adding the seasonings they provided, it still did not taste right. The fresh spring rolls were hard. And the crispy egg rolls were like they had been microwaved. Some spots crunchy and some soggy. The time before that I dined in with family. I did not like the condiments for the soup were on the table. Anybody sitting at the table can put what they want in those bowls. There was spoons and chopsticks out for anyone to touch. It Did not seem very sanitary to have those out so everyone’s germs can end up on them, and then we are expected to use those to eat our food. We sat for about 10-15 minutes before a male came up and took our order. My tea was not sweet tea. After he brought us the food, we never saw him again! No refills on our drinks. we waited a long Time for someone to bring the check or Ask if we wanted to go boxes. Nobody came! When asked for something for my soup, I was given a large foam drink cup with a lid. When I know they have plastic ones they use for carry out. I get up to the register to pay. Again I was not thanked, no conversation. Just horrible customer service here, and the quality of the food has went downhill. I do not...

The food has always been good. Never any issues on that part. However, over the last few months I’ve noticed it seems like the customer service has been pretty nonexistent. Last few times I never was asked how I’m doing, if I need anything, or if I would like a refill of a drink. Today for example, i was asked what I wanted to drink and later eat. Afterwards I never seen anyone. I ran out of my drink very shorty after getting it. Usually I’m asked if I’m done and given a receipt. I never received my receipt and I just headed to the register and they knew what I had and ordered. It was the first time also in years I haven’t tipped, and I always tip even when I pick up food.

There was even once I went in and it wasn’t too busy. One of the guys working there kept bringing out shirts and asking the employees if they want one and if so they’d have to be purchase one. I think that’s unprofessional. If you have work business to conduct then do it when you don’t have customers and don’t do it where they eat.

Lastly one of the times I went there and it was a bit busier than usual. I understand that but I was there for about 20 minutes and never once was helped. No drinks, no service at all. So I decided to leave and go somewhere else.

If it wasn’t for the quality of food I would’ve rated 1 star,...

The pho is exemplary and the servers are very helpful and polite. A large pho is $1.00 more than the regular and definitely worth it. One large #4 beef pho is more than enough to eat half and save the rest for another meal in a to go container. The Vietnamese spring rolls are delicate and served with a peanut sauce. I enjoy the sauce and might recommend requesting a second sauce if sharing the rolls. This might not save a relationship, but it makes sure both people get enough with their rolls. They have a modest selection of imported Asian beers as well as some local brands and wine. The Tai tea is sweet and delicious. The bathrooms are clean and well lit but only one person at a time.

Really great pho. I have had ones with more meat in it, but it wasn’t skimpy. But the flavor was one of my favorites. The egg rolls were very nice and fresh. I was having a slow solo lunch and there were very few guests so I felt comfortable not rushing, I always feel so awkward when places bring me the check without me asking for it or asking if there’s anything else I like (sometimes I order a to go something for my kids/family) especially if it’s not busy or close to closing. I was going to order a boba to go for the drive home, but needless to say that didn’t happen. Bathrooms and restrooms were clean and I spotted they serve sour monkey!

I loved this place because the restaurant seemed clean and all the food was tasty until I went there more than 5 times.. Food comes out pretty fast but nothing special. It's just alright to me and sandwich was pretty bad. Had no flavor and dry. So I started to find other Vietnamese restaurants and I found one so far! I'd recommend "Pho Saigon 8" if you feel the same way that I feel about Pho 79. Pho saigon 8 taste way more authentic to me and now 79 taste more like fast food version of Vietnamese food to me. Sorry. I’m not coming back:(
