Pier 88 — Restaurant in Poquoson

The reason why I gave 2 stars is because the food was ok but I walked in this establishment and not seeing or being told if the party is 6 or more then their is grututity mind you the 6 person was literally a 1 year old baby ok I accept grututity its the laws of the land but does that mean Im suppose to get less service because of this the waiter came over took out drink order we recieved it maybe 8 mins later then she came back took our order literally that was the last time I've seen her never came back to recup our drinks nothing a spill happen at the table we literally had to get another waiter who literally just threw us a towel and we had to clean it up our selves like really everything we needed we pretty much had to call on another waiter when I got the manager involved she said who was you waiter I told her she repeated her name 3 times and said oh she had other tables we all been helping each other out mind you as I look to other surrounding tables I seen they waiter being very attentive why because they had to work for they tip smh so I got home check my account as always and my bill was 15 dollars more than what my bill was like I know these people didn't just add more tip on my bill honestly if it was left up to me I she didn't deserve the 20$ grututity I would have left maybe 5or 8 dollars being nice all I wanna know is why did these people add more money to my bill becareful bad business the food is not even all that good for poor customer...

My visit was on August. The 24th 2025. The server Shaniyah was new, i would assume because she did not know the menu. I asked her how many potatoes? How many eggs and how many corn come in the bag? She replied one of each so I ordered sides of everything. When I receive my bag, we had 3 of each side plus 2. Of everything that was already in the bag. The price was 2.88 for each side which was a total of 8.64 extra. When I opened the bag and discovered that she was incorrect about the quantity. I called her to the table to inform her, she was not accommodating at all. She was very smart mouth. What was really disturbing is that she told me that she would have to take my bag to the back and take it out. Then She could take it off the bill. I informed her that I didn't want my bag to leave the table that she could bring a platter up and put it on the platter. She said the only way that they could take it off my bill is to take the food back. Hopefully, this place doesn't put food that has been to someone's table back in the pot and serve it to someone else. I just found this policy to be nasty and very unsanitary. The server sent another server to the table and said that she didn't want to wait on me anymore Like it wasn't her fault for not knowing the menu. She did apologize later to my husband but I was in the restroom. I will not be going back to pier 88 in...

If I could give these folks 0 stars I promise you I would . Jefferson avenue pier 88. We placed an order around 9pm the order said it was ready within 15 minutes . Just getting off of work not being able to pick up the order until 9:40 we walk in they tell us oh there was an incident with the police and everyone just up and left . So not only did we just drive up here for an order that wasn’t even ready but yet you don’t tell us the order is canceled until we get there .The incident happened an hour or so prior before we placed our order. So folks had plenty of time to get the shii together . We ordered through DoorDash our phone number was available . Plenty of options that could’ve been taken to not let something like this happen were not. Staff was too busy being nosy with whatever situation the police had going on that they did not cancel orders. Or attempt to get into contact with people who did already place orders. This is extremely INCONVENIENT being as though it is now 10 pm and many good places to eat in VA are closed around this time. Ifykyk. Nothing was offered due to the inconvenience. HOWEVER COLISEUM DR PIER 88 is a 5/5 STARS GO THERE BEFORE WAISTING...
