This was, of course, our first time at this newly opened restaurant and we had an experience that was much better than what we expected. It was very clean, the service was superb, and the drive-thru line moved faster than we expected. The whole process was systematic and we were not overwhelmed. The guy who took our order was very friendly and told us, honestly, about everything on the menu that was somewhat smaller than we expected. There wasn't really a wide variety of food options but it was decent. We got the wicked chicken sandwich, which I recommend, and instead of getting the fried chicken we asked for, which was the leg and the thigh, we got the breast. Also, it was raw, hard to chew, and I had to spit it out two times. That is the main reason why I am giving this restaurant a 3 star and not a full 5. We also got a side order of fried okras which were pretty decent. But honestly, out of the entire menu, my top recommendation is the wicked chicken sandwich (spicy). However, when compared to other local restaurants such as Chick-fil-A, their chicken sandwich is truly unbeatable. Would I reccomend this restaurant to someone thinking about coming again? Depends. Oh, and also, the selection of dipping sauces is only limited to honey mustard and barbecue, unlike Popeyes, which offers a variety including the Mardi Gras sauce. I feel like we had a neutral experience because it was really busy, even at 10:30 at night, so the food was prepared faster than usual. But it makes sense because the grand opening was just yesterday, so it will most likely be busy for some time. This does not mean we will stop visiting this restaurant in the future, which we will visit again next month. This restaurant just needs only a few minor changes and it is on the road to being fully...
Read moreThe customer service was good at the drive thru, but when I got my chicken salad home, I was so very disappointed. The green salad was fresh- but before taking the salad out the bag, I noticed the bag had a lot of water in it, the napkins were soaked and when I opened the salad container, too much lettuce, to where I couldn't see all the water that was in the bottom of the container, I had already put croutons on it, poured the dressing on it and started to eat when I noticed further that there was about a half a cup of water still in the bottom of the bowl, chicken soaked, croutons soaked, I couldn't enjoy it any longer and stay too far to return, I called and spoke to Vonda(Manager) , her customer service skills were quite so non-shalunt'- snd needs some more training as well, I explained that I appreciate the salad being fresh, but they seriously need to drain the water and prepare the lettuce ahead a little of time for the day- no apologies or bring your receipt back for a...
