J&J Wings & Seafood — Restaurant in Port Arthur

I love the food, that is when it is cooked, the fried rice, that is when they have it. The problem with this restaurant is that the young ladies do not listen to the customer when placing To go orders. In the past two months, my rice was mostly dripping with oil. Or the rice was not cooked. The Shrimp and fish are great. Oh if you order extra sauces better check, they will charge you for them, collect your money and not give you the extra sauces you paid for. This has happened to me at least three times.

The other night my rice was still crunchy "raw", when my partner went to get the problem resolved, the restaurant was not willing to make it right.

My advice is, check everything before you leave, taste everything.

Next time I will only order shrimp and at least then I wont have to worry weather or not they have fried rice and/or if it is floating in oil or raw.

Today...

Service is very bad at this place and the quality in food has been declining within the last couple of years. I placed an order for 50 wings and a small pan of fries over the phone, when I went to pick my food up they had me pay before receiving my food; to my surprise they handed me a large pan of fries and an order of 6 six wings with a side of fries. The guy who took my order says he heard me say 6 wings but there’s little room for confusion between hearing 50 and 6. 50 and 6 don’t even come close to sounding the same while also giving me a large pan of fries instead of a small. They refused to refund me the money, even though the food was untouched, and they wouldn’t allow me to place a new order of 50 wings. The service people were rude and didn’t seem to even bother trying to help right...

We ordered two orders at this location around an hour apart from this google listed website. The first order we got no problem. The 2nd order we went to pick up at the appointed time and the girl said they don't have the order. I showed her the receipt, email, and text message with the location phone number and address. Her only answer was the website is fraudulent and the restaurant doesn't have a website to order from... So on top of everything else I feel lied to and dismissed. She caught a little attitude as well. She wasn't even interested in anything I had to show her just that they don't have the order. She tried to send us to a different location we have proof we didn't order from. No order, but money taken from account. Safe to say won't be going back here and won't...
