I'm only giving 2 stars because the food we got was good. However, we placed large order (12 meals) yesterday to be picked up today at 11:30. I thought by placing the order the day before would give them ample time to be prepared before the lunch crowd arrived. The lady I spoke with on the phone was friendly. I asked her to put in each order with a person's name attached to help with keeping all the food together and making sure we get everything we ordered. We went to pick up the food a little before 11:30 expecting to have to wait a few minutes until it was ready. We sat at the restaurant for 38 minutes waiting on the order. At this time is was a little after 12. Our company meeting was at noon. When we finally got the food it was 12:28 then a 10-15 minute drive to work depending on traffic. Most of the orders had the person's name on the box with their correct order. There was one order (12oz New York Strip with shrimp, salad, and baked potato) that wasn't even included plus 2 house salads, ceaser salad, baked potato, and an appetizer as well. After our meeting I called Saltgrass to report the missing items to be picked up at 5. After being transferred 3 different times, a gentleman took down what was missing and went to check our original order to make sure it was on the order. After confirming it was on the order form he proceeded to tell me we should have checked all the meal boxes plus all the side boxes to make sure we had our complete order. First off.... 30 minutes after the order should have already for me to pick up I shouldn't have to unpack every meal and side box to make sure the order is correct. When each plate was between $20-30 per meal! Then in the same breath he tells me that the man picking up the oder went threw all the boxes to make sure it was all there which did not happen!!! I politely asked for the missing items to be ready for pickup at 5 PM that day. At 5 PM the man picking up the order shows up and not only is nothing ready but the manager has no idea what is going on or anything about the order. Almost an hour later everything is figured out again and they leave with the rest of the order. This isn't the first time this has happened. We will not order any big meals from here again. Just use caution when there is a delivery or pick...
Read moreSo yesterday My folks drove in from Houston to visit, and when discussing lunch, salt grass was brought up because they are Landry's card holders and I confessed to never been there before, so off we went. Upon arriving and walking inside, the first thing I noticed was the decor and atmosphere of the place which I found to be pretty cool so already I had a decent enough feeling. That feeling was only slightly skewed after looking at my silverware noticing that one of the forks was incredibly cruddy it looked like it had baked on cheese and gravy stuck to it which I did not make a big deal out of I went over to our waitress and kind of nonchalantly after if I could have another fork she said of course finish that back down what about enjoying the rest of my appetizer. But then she got another strike after the chop steak I ordered with no grilled onions and made a point to say no grilled onions more than once, arrived in front of me with a cartoon amount of grilled onions on top of it, which again I did not make a big deal out of I simply got my fork and scoop the grill onions on to the small bread plate I was given and then handed that plate to our waitress thinking okay well I don't have to say it was wrong she should have realized but she said nothing about it no apologies no nothing whatever. Besides that the food was pretty good no complaints there it was just the lack of detail as far as the silverware goes and the paying attention to customer service and making sure that they are correct and they are happy that's where I would see some work needing done. And all that being said, I've worked in the food industry before and serve the people, so I know it's...
Read moreOk…full transparency, I’m a regular. This place is my Cheers. I’ve been coming to this location for years and have always enjoyed every time I’ve come in. You don’t regularly patron a place without reason and there’s plenty for my loyalty. I never think to leave reviews for the places I love, but I’m in my feelings today so I figured to offer some insight in case someone just needed some help in choosing. First things first, they have a fantastic early dinners/lunch menu that- from steaks to chicken to seafood - you can find what you want reasonably. It ends at 6 pm at this location, so it’s perfect if you get off at 5, like I do, and want a quick bite. Next….Their happy hour is amazing. Select wines and well drinks AND half price appetizers make a meal for me many nights. And if I want to shake things up with a good steak, I get the Pats Ribeye. Lastly, the Landry’s Reward system? Love it. You get 25$ that can be spent on food at any Landry’s restaurant for every 250 point you get from buying food and drinks. Now I know I sound like a walking paid advertisement but to be clear, I really do come here a lot. And the reason for that… I hate cooking. Lol. The thing is, I could go anywhere to eat, but I choose this place. Yes, because the food is good but most importantly because the service it top tier. The employees and managers are kind and welcoming, and it’s not because I’m a regular. I send my family and friends this way and they get the same service. Never had a complaint from them. There’s plenty of places to eat around here. If you want a good drink, great service, and a nice comfortable time… you’ve...
