This place was delicious. Everything I tried was good. The sushi was fresh and made well. The crawfish was well seasoned. The coconut shrimp was awesome.. service was great and they had a ton of options to choose from…. I loved it. We will be back
Editing to change my review.. I’ve been twice since my initial visit and both times the food was very very stale and it’s an act of congress to get a refill if you walk in as a single mom with your children because they think you won’t tip. Every time I paid out the women would stand there and wait to see if I left her a tip and the cashier would tell her in their language what her tip was before I walked away. I always tip well so it’s a non issue but it’s very awkward and I’d like to get a refill before you realize I’ll tip as opposed to when we’re leaving. The food was good the first time we went and I was there with my domestic partner so they waited on us hand and foot but both times since it was nothing to be proud of and I don’t like being discriminated against when I go alone with my children. I guess we will continue our search for decent...
Read moreI HATE giving bad reviews, but if this is one of the best Chinese buffets in the area, there is no reason to ever try the others. We love a good Chinese buffet, but this was far from it. The parking lot had several cars, so I immediately got excited. The second we walked in I looked at my husband & said do you smell that? He said yep. Wet rotten cabbage smell?? Super offensive smell. We should have left at that point. Every dish had a fishy smell & taste. Overly salty. I tried several things trying to find something good. The green beans were okay. The General Tso's was full of orange grease. The sushi was fishy... good seafood shouldn't smell fishy. I really wanted to like this place because we get tired of the same ol menu at most places. There was watermelon all over the floor & no one seemed to care. I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. Why the place was busy is a head scratcher? Skip this place. They would need a revamp before I'd ever go back. Believe the "bad" reviews...
Read moreWhile dining there on 05/17/2013 around 8 PM, we had an unexpected visitor, in the form of a roach, join us in our dining experience by skittering across the table.
We informed the staff, and their reaction was indifference (either that or they just didn't understand us, as their English skills seemed to be limited at best), so we moved to another table, and were promptly ignored for the remainder of the stay (until the bill was due, of course).
And, to cap it all off, they actually asked us 'How was everything?' when paying the bill. When I again informed them of the roach, I received a 'Ah, so sorry...$25.94, please'.
I must mention that we kept quiet while in the restaurant, there were no loud exclamations or shouts of horror. Just because our meal was ruined, that doesn't mean it should have been a bad experience for everyone.
So, while I enjoy Chinese food (and have the 42" waist to verify this), King Buffet is defiantly off my list of Fine Restaurants...
