The Starbucks App stole money from me and I had to be the one to figure it out and contact them. I started using the starbucks rewards app in February 2022, and have used it until today for my purchases there. For each one of my purchases it overcharged me $2-$3 each purchase. About $15 and some has been stolen from me since using the Starbucks App once I checked my receipts on the app and did the math. I have since put in a complaint with Starbucks Customer Service and wait to hear back. If you are using the Starbucks App please check your receipts to make sure they are not overcharging you. Go to your account and click the receipt icon up at the top right corner. This is way more serious if they are taking $2-$3 each purchase from everyone. I will be putting in a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission as well because it has been a month since this offense has been continually happening and I had to be the one to put a stop to it instead of the correct regulation of their App when they should be regulating this themselves as a large company. She rang one of my drinks wrong and when my husband tried to tell her he wanted a Venti, she said “well you ordered a grande” in a rude tone. He also wanted extra ice and she rang light ice and when we tried to tell her that she said “so, what you want me to put it in a venti cup?” So he left and wanted to try to drink the incorrect drink because he didnt want to make a big deal out of it. He didn’t like it so I brought it back and asked for it to be remade and saw Michelle again. She asked what drink I wanted and I ordered the same drink again. She then said “and what was wrong with the one you got?” Again in a confrontational tone. I told her we got wrong size and light ice instead of extra and she said “oooookay, and you came through THIS drive thru?” We all know it doesn’t matter what starbucks I went to but it was literally 20 minutes later in the same starbucks. Read morePrices here are dramatically different from the Starbucks in town at Target. I order the same coffee at Target (venti) and it costs me $7. I order a grande here and it’s almost $9. The quality of drinks is heavily dependent on who is working. There are times we get refreshers or ice coffees and they’re perfect. Other times there is not enough flavor in the refresher. You can tell because the refresher is a very light pink vs an almost reddish pink. Ice Coffees will be between half hot and lukewarm. If you order inside, just a reminder, you’ll be competing against drive thru. I sat within line of sight of the drive through window and watched 8 cars pass by. Worst part was, they never called my name to pick up my order. I watched the barista place my drink on the pick up counter and walk away. Normally, you would want to be upset with employees with their performance, but in this case it’s management and probably understaffing. The employees either seemed overwhelmed or under trained.
