Bait House — Restaurant in Port Clinton

Came here for the first time today (5/27/23) and it was not a good atmosphere. Woman working the bar was less than friendly and grabbed one drink for me and closed my tab without ever considering I was going to keep it open. Didn’t bother to ask. Looks just like her attitude if you know what I mean. As a bartender myself this was a clear indication to me she was in a hurry to get me out of her way and not looking to make any more money 👋🏻 if I weren’t in the service industry myself I would have tipped 0. Horrible service !!!or should I say NO SERVICE !!! cannot go to counter to buy drinks!! must be seated and a waitress will be over to take your order!! We sat down at a table at the same time as another couple sat at a table next to ours !!! Neither one of us got any service not even an acknowledgement . After being ignored for 20 minutes the other couple decided to leave. After 30 minutes we decided to leave . Had a blast tonight. I went to support a buddy's band. The music was great, I got to hang out with some friends, and even meet some new ones. But best of all was the atmosphere. Positioned right on the water, we were treated to amazing scenery, a cool breeze, and good fun. There's a kitchen to fill your belly, a bar to let the good times roll, several distinct seating areas to sit and relax, and a dance floor to bring everyone together. I will be back....
