Not just a pho place, they have all around good food and a friendly staff.
My wife and I got take out here the other day because she was craving soup. I agreed because they also had egg rolls and Banh Mi. The staff was super friendly and helpful after their online ordering system went down.
We got take out so only saw the inside shortly but it was clean and orderly. The theme is fun and it definitely looks like a place I'd sit down for lunch.
The food was great! I got the beef Banh Mi and was surprised of it's quality and depth of flavor. The veggies were fresh and the beef was tender and flavorful. All on a fresh roll. I'm excited to try the other flavors. Also, these are large sandwiches, about an 8" from Quiznos. The egg rolls were good as usual. Unexpectedly the shrimp wonton rolls were great! Large fresh shrimp in a crispy wonton wrapper, getting those again. My wife, with her abnormal love of spicy food, was able to get them to make her soup hotter than I would be able to eat (and I like spicy). She loved it though and wants to go every day. If you're a normal person their hot is a good spicy soup.
While picking up I found that they offered a hot pot to go menu. This looks like a blast and the wife and I will by trying it next time. I added a picture of that menu since I didn't see it on her before we ordered.
Overall it's a great place that I would highly recommend for soup...
Read moreRagin Pot is hands down the best hot pot experience I’ve ever had! From the moment we walked in, the smell of simmering broth had us drooling. The decor is cozy yet modern, making it the perfect place for a fun dining experience.
Now, let’s talk about the service. Our waiter was a gem, though he did give us the biggest laugh of the night when he thought I was my sister’s mother! 😂 I mean, I knew I shouldn’t have skipped that extra skincare routine last night! (I’ll be making an appointment with a plastic surgeon next week!) Despite the hilarious mix-up, he was very attentive, super friendly, and kept our broth boiling and our plates full.
We got spring rolls, Ragin Pot with Tom Yum base medium heat which I’m certain had every sea animal known to man in it, there was no skimping on this delicious pot. We also got Yellow Curry with chicken which was also out of this world. We came hungry and left satisfied beyond measure. Each bite was a flavor explosion! The dipping sauces were a game-changer. We had the taro milk tea, which was amazing too.
I’m from Vegas, and I wish I could find a place as delicious as Ragin Pot. They even have a unique boutique of candies, drinks, and cute gifts. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, great vibes, and a story you’ll laugh about for years, Ragin Pot is the spot. Just maybe bring your ID if you’re dining with...
Read moreI had the tiger milk boba tea, military stew, and bunny buns. The tiger milk tea is excellent (if not a little skimpy and the refills aren’t free, so next time I’m there I think I’ll order soda instead), the military stew is delicious (but I wasn’t able to eat it all because I only have so much room in my stomach), and the bunny buns are horrible. Sure, they’re cute and all, but they’re mostly breading and hardly any custard, and they’re not nearly sweet enough for my taste. The prices for nearly everything there are considerably good for what you get (especially in today’s economy!) even if you only have $40 or a little less to your name, and the atmosphere is a step or two above decent. There’s a fair amount of decorations and they’re nice (especially since it’s the holiday season), and even the restroom smells nice! And yes, there are decorations in there too, which unfortunately borderline rival the decorations in the dining area itself. It’s a fairly small and casual restaurant, but it’s a great place to eat with your friends. All in all, I highly recommend it! And about the fires under the bowls, they take a while to go out, but they go out on their own. You don’t have to ask the waiters to put them...
