El Burrito de Mexico — Restaurant in Port Hueneme

Gross Red Sauce and Questionable Food Practices. I ordered the three cheese enchilada plate with red sauce and the California carne asada burrito. The red sauce on the enchiladas tasted horrible like their red salsa not like an enchilada red sauce. The fries in the California carne asada burrito were either really old or not fried at all leaving them dry and tasteless.

I saw one of the workers take a small food tray, put carne asada in it, some french fries and cheese. Then go in the back to the kitchen and either just heat them up in a broiler or put them in the microwave. Not sure. But the burrito pretty much sucked. I definitely would not recommend this place. They do not care...

Sabrosisimo!!!! Service is spot on, no nonsense. I ordered 2 fish tacos and was recommended to have the combo. Just about the same price with the tastiest rice and cheesy beans w some chips! Definitely made this a better meal! The fish tacos were incredibly tasty and packed full of goodness! The horchata was tasty and very good! Portions are very generous. It's nice to feel like you're getting a good value! Last time I was here I bought a super burrito. That beast was no joke! Massive like; great white shark, orca, rhino huge! So satisfying! Food coma is pretty much a guarantee after eating here. I'll be back...

I got the red chilaqulas. If you look through my other reviews I'm always trying to find delicious chilaqulas. These were okay. They have an odd smell and not really any flavor but they weren't disgusting. I have disgusting. I'm having a very weird after taste however. I'd have given 1 star off flavor but the salsa on the side was good. They shouldn't charge for it though. Over the phone I was told 10.91 with tax and paid 12. 11 so that was odd. The staff was really nice. But for that price if your looking for flavor and deliciousness and spice go down to Carnitas El Brother. $15 with tax and so far the...
