Normally use the drive-thru, I've been coming to this Starbucks since opened because it's close to home. Had an urge to use the bathroom after stopping at Puffy's Smoke Shop across the parking lot . Bathroom is for customers only I was told. Maybe they should instead say. You must buy something before you can use the bathroom. I am a customer. Well I was a customer. So long Starbucks! ✌️ When I work at a place where there is a bathroom in the dining area. I would let anybody use the bathroom. And I only had one instance when I let somebody use the bathroom that left a complete mess and clogged the toilet out of the whole time I worked in fast food. I understand people do graffiti amongst other things. But that all can be fixed. I would much rather clean a messy bathroom and unclog a toilet, then have somebody poop or pee themselves. That's just me. I give everybody the chance to use it whether they buy something or not. Because buying something isn't going to stop them from destroying the bathroom. In my opinion let everybody use it. Or have a bathroom in the back for employees only.. to end this review I am the bathroom user who picks up trash left on the ground even if it's not mine. I used the mobile app this morning 1/1/2021 at 5:43am to purchase 3 items totaling $7.90 included using my rewards of $4.90 at the Channel Islands & Wheelhouse location in Port Hueneme. However, when I arrived to that location, the lights were off & the store was closed with no signage at the drive thru nor the front doors indicating that the hours have changed. The app allowed me to place my order but the workers either didn’t show up on time to open or didn’t change their hours on the app. This is very disappointing and I am very dissatisfied with the level of service I receive. Read moreI'd like to say that I really enjoy this location. But the service hasn't been holding up as of recently and it's a bummer. As a vegetarian, I don't really order many food items, but on this occasion I decided with a cheese danish. as those are usually bomb. I bit in half way and I could taste it was slathered in bacon grease. Disgusting. In a hurry, I had decided to finish the rest as I had no time to complain or have them remake it. I also felt embarrassed as I would be shamed for complaining about such a trivial thing. I now regret it because I feel absolutely ill and the taste still lingers in my mouth. I hope they don't keep this particular behavior and quality a norm. Maybe it was a mishap, but I think other people such as vegans should be aware they do occasionally cross contaminate the foods by not cleaning their ovens regularly.
