Poke Land — Restaurant in Port Hueneme

Went here for lunch twice, both times the staff were kinda impatient & rude. On the last visit they totally screwed my work partner. She asked them to change her order to the next size up while they were still filling the bowl. I stead of charging that lower price of the next size up they charged her for an additional side which was much more. It was obviuos she didnt get but a little added to the smaller bowl. We called them out before payment and said just charge for the larger size, which was less even though they didn't change the bowl. But the attendant argued she got an additional side. It was not much of a price difference an obvious scam. Now my work associate and I don't feel like going back. Was it worth it taking advantage of your customers, I think not. Their store center and the other location near this place have plenty of food options to choose from to be making customers feel jaded. Hope the owner reads this before his agro staff runs them out...

It’s good,!my biggest problem is the fact bones are left in the eel($3.25+). I thought this was going to be a one time thing but it keeps coming with bones now. In absolute every bite I take in having to slowly and very carefully tongue mash the eel to pick out the bones and it’s beyond frustrating that you can’t even enjoy it anymore or even want to try cause of how much work you have to put in just to eat it. Gohdamn even choked on one right not trying to eat it. Eveything else is good, I think. Just the eel completely...

Wasn’t worth the price, the sushi here was too tiny to taste. Not sure if they just cut corners to save money or if that’s their style. Regardless I could’ve enjoyed it more if the pieces of sushi were of decent cut size. If they lower their prices or up the quality of the food I can see myself coming back because everything else about the dish was good. Everything was fine but the fish in my personal opinion, then again it could just be my preference. Either way I don’t recomend it unless you like tiny sushi pieces at a...
