Little dockside — Restaurant in Port Lavaca

This place is a MUST EAT during your trip to the area. Pick up or eat at the outside picnic table. We got the Captain’s Special Boil that has 1 pound crawfish, 1/2 pound shrimp, 1 blue crab and 1/2 stone crab. We added a couple of corn and a sausage. You can also add potatoes and boiled eggs. You can pick your flavor, Cajun, Garlic Pepper, Lemon Pepper or Plain. Pick your spicy level: Mild Medium or Spicy. We picked Cajun Spicy. Out of this world delicious.

The food came out hot and fresh that we ate before I remembered to take a picture. We ordered a combo - 4 fried shrimps, a fried fish and 2fried pork egg rolls. Shrimp 🍤 was cooked perfectly and the batter was crisp. The fish was cooked in cornmeal batter and cooked also to perfection. I travel a lot down south for work and every time I pass through Port Lavaca I make sure to stop and eat here. Food is always fantastic, fresh and has amazing flavors.
