The menu seems very misleading. It says you can add soup for an additional charge. It didn’t say the full price charge on the menu so it really didn’t make sense for it to offer that at all. I know that I could just purchase soup full price off your menu. The macaroni and cheese was very nasty. The. Service was good. The waitress was atentative. The French onion soup was very, very, very salty and extremely well covered with an extra thick layer of cheese however at Chili’s when they say that you can add a large bowl of soup to your meal, they mean for a dollar and not seven so again kind of disappointed with that.

Three times I've been to this Applebees and never again. This is the only bad Applebees I've ever been to. Service and food is awful! Their caesar salad is an unedible huge bowl of cow cud swimming in dressing. When I told the waitress that I couldn't eat it with all that dressing, she gets me another huge bowl of cud for me to sit and mix it myself. It was too soupy to make right. Medium rare means charred to a crisp. Chicken is incredibly dry. They gave us packet condiments like McDonalds does and it's a full service restaurant... how cheap and tacky. This store is really bad!!!!

So paying an upcharge for onion rings and getting 4 decent ones of them isn't what I call getting onion rings as a side for an extra fee. I mean $19+ for a mushroom Swiss burger and no onions with onion rings not worth it even though the burger was cooked very good. They need to take an example out of Red Robin's onion count policy haha.. seriously. Your onion rings come in a frozen back or container and you drop them into a fryer and pull them out an throw them into a to go container.... what's the upcharge for? Geesh ... our American restaurant chains how sad.

So I need to preface this with the fact that when we went here it was just after Hurricane Ian blew through. The areas near here had seem some impact from the storm but not this immediate area.

It was a Saturday night, and of course was busy as you would expect. We were told a 30 minute wait, which turned out to be almost an hour, but no big deal, like I said it was Saturday night. The waitress was very polite and nice, but she was somewhat slow, and often times seemed to forget that our table was one of hers too, seeing to the needs of the tables around us, but skipping us. They had a very limited menu, which was just printed out on some grotty looking plain paper, but I am not sure if this was the norm for them of late, or due to the storm from a few days prior, so I let it go. We ordered our drinks, one of which was from the bar. The alcoholic drink took forever to be brought to our table, which was the first chance we had to order our food also. We didn't order a lot, four meals total. There was apparently an issue with one of the meals having the wrong sauce added (which the waitress caught before bringing it to the table), which meant that person had to wait a further 10 minutes or so as they recooked a different one for them, so they had to sit there and watch us eat our food while waiting for arrive, or all of us sit there waiting also with our food getting cold, not the best situation. We also had to wait for long periods for both drink refills, and also the check when we were done. I had asked for the check before we had finished due to us being skipped over quite a few times before that point, only for the server to come back 10 minutes or so later asking if she had dropped the check off or not, which then meant another 10 minute wait while she reprinted our check... All in all we were in here for over two and a half hours for nothing more than four entrees and drinks with our food, a little too long if you ask me. The food was ok, nothing ground breaking, but not bad either.

I am hoping this was just a extraordinary night, and not how this location operates normally. We don't live in the area and were just passing through so I cannot give any historical...

My wife and I decided late last night to get a quick meal just prior to New Year's celebration. Not many places open, as a matter of fact first place we went to closed at 9 PM. And I had called ahead and they said close would be at 10 PM, what a bummer. Well we found Applebee's was open until 2 AM. Perfect. We both ordered the Brunch Burger with a few modifications. The server had no problems with the mods we made to our food. My wife ordered the Perfect Margarita, which came in a cold icy milk shake size container. I think she got over 3 glasses out of that. She loved the taste. I ordered my Yeungling beer to find out in was 2 for 1 special, nice! The Burgers came and they were enormous. We both had to imitate the Fieri hunch to eat them especially because the had a nice fried egg on them that oozed all over, yum! Our burgers were cooked perfectly to our order. The meat was very tasty and moist. The accompanying french fries were perfectly crisp and moist inside with a great taste. We celebrated our dining success each with a shot of Cuervo techila with a side of lime and a salt lined shot glass. Oh and they were 2 for 1. Perfect...

As a former employee ID like to inform any person that works in the dishwasher pit, I was treated so bad by waitresses who threw dishes into my area eventually hitting me and the glassware breaking. I notified the kitchen manager whom did not approach the waitress to repremand. I was so upset that I had to leave for my own safety. As I sat outside awaiting my wife to pick me up the kitchen the kitchen manager Victor approached me informing me saying so what that this happened and walked away without a care in the world. Another situation that occurs at this establishment is most of the waitresses after closing smoke pot outside the restaurant. I was offered many times but refused. Finally upon picking up my last paycheck Victor came out and told me to sign here to get my check informing me that I was singing my life away. Bad staffing and there are leaks in the bathrooms both male and female that has to be mopped up every 10 minutes. Also water leaks around electrical outlets in the kitchen making a very dangerous place for any employee to work. Needlessly to say the volusia county building inspectors have been notified as...
