Beautiful place. Horrible wait for food and attention to the customer.

Came in at 7p, not very busy. Waited to be seated \ no one up front and 3 parties were waiting by the time they came up.

Was seated and after 15 min of waiting and eating chips with no drinks and waiter, had to flag someone down for a waiter.

Ordered by 720 (ordered as soon as we got drinks) no one had been back or updated us by 8. Flagged down the server again to ask where the food was as we had a child and were ready to just leave at this point.

Asked for more salsa and lemons, never received.

They apologized and stated it was a new menu and they could not control it. Also due to this and having some bigger tablers, they were struggling with time.

Another attendant came up and asked about us being upset and again reiterated the same reasoning. He said he told the kitchen to hurry our table and we'd get our food within 10. We stated okay, if not though we just want to leave. He then said yeah I understand, it'll be 5 more minutes.

Food did come out about this time. One meal slightly behind. Food was decent. Menu a bit weird, no real ala carte options without asking. I enjoyed my filet plate alot, kids fajita steak had weird \ too much seasoning, chimichanga was ok, chicken taco and enchilada were good. Queso was great, thick.

TLDR, food was decent, service and wait time sucked horribly. The waiters were nice, when there. But unless you have an hour or so to wait and want to spend too much on an odd selection.......

I can’t recommend Dahlia Mexican highly enough! It was our first visit after driving by countless times, and I’m honestly kicking myself for not stopping in sooner. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with genuine smiles, upbeat energy, and an atmosphere that instantly felt inviting. The space is clean, vibrant, and full of charm — the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy good company, and know you’re about to have a great meal.

Every single dish we tried was nothing short of amazing. The presentation alone could rival a five-star restaurant — especially the steak, which looked absolutely picture-perfect and tasted even better. It was tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. The sides and sauces complemented every bite, and you could tell everything was made with care and quality ingredients. Even the smallest details, like how fresh the chips and salsa were, showed that this kitchen takes real pride in its craft.

What really stood out, though, was how consistent everything was — not just the food, but the service, the pacing, and the overall experience. Everyone at our table left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Dahlia Mexican has quickly become one of those rare finds you can’t wait to tell friends about. If you’ve ever driven by and wondered whether it’s worth a stop — take my advice and go. You’ll be...

If you have a handicapped person do not take them there until they get their act together. It's a shame considering there are a handful of assisted living facilities on Dunlawton Ave. and convenient for people to take their loved ones to. We called and asked if we needed reservations and were told no to come on up that they were not busy. Our mistake, they were slammed. Our 80+ year old Mom was with us, has Parkinson's and can't stand for long periods. They said our wait time would be 20- 30 minutes. They do have a bench in the foyer but it was occupied. There was a man sitting on the bench in his Gary Yoman's shirt, I hoped he'd offer to stand while she sat but that didn't happen. We took her outside thinking there would be a bench for her to sit on but there wasn't. So we go back in and noticed a open table in the bar, back in the days of Stonewood's and Costal the bar area was first come first serve, so we sat there. The manager quickly came over and asked us to move. He did manage to get us a table in the main dining hall fairly quick. The waiter took our order and we waited and waited for the food to arrive, waited over an hour. The waiter came back, apologized for the delay, said the food would be up in 5 minutes, we give them 15, it never came so we left. Terrible...

This is a new location in our area. The building and decor inside and out is colorful and inviting. The people are very warm and helpful. Our waitresses name was Karen. She was very kind and attentive. They have booths, tables, indoor and outdoor seating. The chips were good. The salsa was fresh with just the right depth of spice. Be sure to let them know if you want a few minutes to eat your appetizers before presenting your entree. We received our entrees about 3 minutes after our appetizer. It was Fine for us. I am just letting you know. The portions are generous. Bring your appetite. Expect to take home leftovers😋 The food looked Great. It was Delicious. Not too salty or spicy. They offer a full bar as well as non alcoholic drink choices. The background music is pleasant. The Restrooms are clean and easy to access. Thank You for taking Your time to read My Review😊 Have a Great Day🌞

We ordered margaritas to start with, and they were nothing special and a tad on the bitter side with too much lime juice. The diamond skinny margaritas tasted watered down and so bitter. The guacamole was fantastic, the first batch of chips were hot and great. But the second round of chips tasted really greasy as if they had been cooked in old oil, tasting rancid, making it where we didn't finish our second order of guacamole. For the main course, we ordered a chicken chimichanga, which was just as expected, and the queso was great! The enchiladas were ok, but nothing special. We also ordered the Taquiza Board, which would have easily fed 3-4 people, and had a great variety of tacos and ways to sample a huge amount of the menu. The reason why I gave 3 stars was the bitter margaritas and terrible chips. If we didn't have that experience, I would have given them 4 stars.

I got the Dahlia Chicken with a side of rice and beans and it came with 3 small flour tortillas..It all tasted amazing but the chicken was drenched/ smothered with a cheesy saucy that I wasnt a big fan of how wet it was. My husband got the chicken texmex tacos (3) that also had a side of rice, he said it was amazing and that's big because he's picky! We ordered a side of queso dip, tasted so good however it was too thick while it was hot and fresh and even thicker once it cooled down. The music was amazing in my opinion because I love house and dance music and the staff were all very welcoming and attentive. I would definitely go there again but I'll be sure to go during happy hour next time! Also the complementary chips and salsa were awesome, well the salsa was just ok but the chips were so tasty and warm!
