A couple weeks ago I went in to pick up a pre ordered switch game.Apparently I was the only one who ordered this game and I dont know what happened to the order but they didnt get the game that I wanted the day of because of a problem with the u.p.s. driver not doing the job he is payed to do..Just to let you know if I didnt do the job I am supposed to do every night I would be reprimanded or fired..Anyway..The Manager felt so bad she drove to another store to pick up the game I ordered which was nice and I thanked her for that..But again today I went to pick up another Switch game that I preordered for today only for them to not be able to find it..The other person who might know where it is is out,and after the clerk looked two times in the back,and three times in the drawer up front told me I have to wait for clerk # two to come back so he can maybe find it.I asked nice clerk to please let manager to know this is second time this has happened,im not happy,and thankyou for waisting my time again.I work the night shift. After getting home in the morning I take oldest to school and second to occupation therapy I have few minutes to mess around..After all is done I go to sleep just to do this all over again the next day...Anywho I have yet to get a phone call from a clerk telling me they have my game or a call from a manager explaining why this keeps...
Read moreSo I went in there and had the intentions to pre order Spider-Man 2 but unfortunately did not because I was rushed out of the transaction. Idk why I always feel like the girl that works up there hates everyone that goes in there for some reason unless it contains to her gaming interests..it’s weird because I was greeted at the door and everything seemed to be great and she seemed in a good mood..I was looking around the store and found another game I wanted then proceeded to purchase and all I keep getting pressured about was “are you using your points now”? You want a protection plan?” Your card expires in a month you wanna renew??” After saying no because i’m waiting for Spider-Man and I’ll be back super soon. she seemed pissed and told me my total and said they aren’t gonna stack they won’t be here next month etc..even tho the game comes out in 6 days lol just oblivious about me even getting the pre order today still which would have helped her sales that day because GameStop cares about pre orders too. And because GameStop is too worried about subscription and rewards and protections more then customer satisfaction, she completely forgot to add the pre order on the purchase so now I don’t feel like going back into pre order so I will gladly wait to get it at omega video games...
Read moreThey are pretty condescending. They jump to it being your fault, or that you're wrong. They tend to talk over you and not listen to what you say. One example: Worker says the Xbox series S doesn't come in 1TB. I told them I found one (ended up being Xbox S, not Series S), and before I could say it was years ago he interrupted me and said "no that's not possible they don't come in that." I started saying I got it at Walmart, and he interrupted me again. I don't have the energy to argue so I kept my mouth shut, but I thought I was crazy so I looked up the receipt. I was right with it being 1TB, just got the model wrong. But instead of listening to what I had to say, it was immediately jumping down my throat with "you're wrong" instead of "you might be thinking of _". I've had a few other experiences similar, but this is the most recent. I go to the Ormond location as well and they're so much more friendly. They listen to what you have to say before jumping to conclusions. And will explain things if it doesn't seem like you fully...
