I'll always be grateful that in 2023, Dr. Grube was thorough and tested the correct hormones & did the correct imaging orders to diagnose my PCOS 2 years after Candice Marois pretty much dismissed my concerns because of a condition I have that she didn't like (which actually falls under the category of discrimination as it's a condition recognized by the ADA). However, I asked for an endocrinology referral after looking into it and seeing that they are typically more knowledgeable about PCOS and are better ept to manage the condition but he denied the referral. I have long since moved on from this office but as of last week my PCOS is "in remission" (I don't meet diagnostic criteria anymore but it's not curable) & it was nothing that the FOUR OBGYNs I've been to since then did. It was one endocrinology office. So thank you, Dr. Grube, for being the one that took the proper steps to diagnose a condition that statistically takes way longer than necessary to diagnose, but also the treatment wouldn't have taken this long if the request for a referral wasn't...
Read moreExcellent facility, unfortunately this Dr is a significant liability. A simple physical resulted in a sermon by Dr. Grube concerning his distain for those who determine what vaccine they allow in their bodies ..Needless to say what little professionalism and making new patients feel "comfortable" with a new physician went by the way side. The simple "physical" was a joke, Grube did little if any "examination". Routine blood work was requested including a PSA as well as an order for a colonoscopy based on age and health status... needless to say, out of pure spite from someone asking Grube to respect my medical choices, none was included on the lab order. Avoid this "doctor" at all costs... and did I mention he looks like a prime candidate on "To Catch a...
Read moreThis doctor is the worst! My aunt got out of hospital for a few problems but the UTI was the big thing. They sent her home with 2 days worth of meds. We called doctors if that’s what you want to call him. We waited on line before anyone answered the phone for 59 minutes. We explained it was weekend coming up and she needed more meds because she clearly has it and is mentally confused which is a symptom of UTI! He refused to give us any meds and said if it got bad take her to hospital. Our objective to get her the meds was to avoid the hospital again! She’s 94 years old! He’s all about the money and pushing to give Halifax more money in their pockets! He doesn’t deserve any stars for reviews in my opinion. But it wouldn’t let me post...
