We called in hours before arriving for my friends birthday, we had a party of 12 people. We made the reservation for 7:30pm and arrived at 7:30pm, we checked in with the hostess stand and were told we would be sat in a moment. After noticing people were getting seated before us, we spoke with the manager who told us that those people arrived before us. I was very shocked, I asked about our reservation and what it means to make one if people would get seated before us. He said it did not matter that we called ahead, that they arrived first so we would be seated in order in which we came. A table reservation is an arrangement made in advance to have a table available at a restaurant - if this was true, a table would have been held for that time or around the time we would be arriving. To be perfectly honest, I would not have minded waiting 15 to 20 minutes for a table, but after waiting for almost an hour I had enough. Around 8:20pm, I went back to the host stand to ask what was going on. The host was VERY rude, and seemed to belittle me as if it were my first time at a restaurant. She said that La Fiesta does not take reservations, and she is not sure what we were told that over the phone. A man then jumped in (He was wearing a black t-shirt and so was she) and started getting rude with me as well. They both were verbally attacking me about things I should have known before I got there. Read moreUsed to really love this place. Maybe it was the margaritas, or maybe it was the managers or cooks knew their own menu. The restaurant was vacant and when we walked in the wait staff were too busy with their own conversations to greet us. Luckily the manager was walking out of the back and noticed us and sat us quickly. The server greeted us with menus and gave us a second to look it over. I wasn’t too too hungry so I ordered the Fuego guacamole- chicharron, avocado, jalapeño, queso fresco, tequila bacon, onions, tomatoes, lime, sea salt. I was excited to eat, so I didn’t examine it right away so I grabbed a scoop and that’s when it all really hit the fan. I notice there were some ingredients missing. The queso fresco tomatoes were not there. I’m not normally one to send something back but when the server came to ask how everything was, I asked him if there was something missing because it didn’t taste like it had before when I’ve order it before. Then, I noticed no cheese and no tomatoes. He grabbed it before I could even say anything and brought the same bowl of guacamole back out covered in the queso fresco like you couldn’t see anything else but the queso fresco. Then the manager came over and said I’ll make it right. Took my bowl of again and brought me back out a new guacamole made the same way, absolutely covered in queso fresco and still had no tomatoes. I didn’t eat any of the items they brought out to me except the first bite. Nothing about this was customized, I ordered it exactly how they list it on the menu. Read moreThis place used to be the best. Food is still great. However... the portions have been cut by 1/3 and the price has remained the same. There is almost no alcohol in the mixed drinks and they rush food to the table to get you in and out as quick as possible. Currently sitting at a table right now. Ordered drinks, appetizers, and food. The food got to the table moments after the drinks. The appitizers came out after the food. We refused to take the appetizers since the dinner was already on the table. The waitress alerted the manager who come over and tried to convince us to take the appetizers anyway. He offered them for free but we did not want them at that point. Once he could not get us to take them he made the comment while walking away "we will just throw them away then"... The service is the real issue here now. If you want to sit down and have a relaxing meal I guess you have to tell the wait staff that you will order in stages. Otherwise they will just rush everything out as quick as possible to get you out the door so they can get the next group in. There is absolutely no reason to rush people as fast as they do now. There is no excuse for making a custo.er feel u comfortable. I would highly recommend now NEVER coming here. I used to tell everyone to come here. I can not do that anymorw.. stay away unless you like to be rushed and have managers make comments wike walking...
