Panda Express — Restaurant in Port Orange

I just left this terrible nastiest place at 8:43pm which ruined my appetite and I had to throw my food in the trash. Today Friday May 12th is the last day I will go Panda Express I received the worst service from Ashley V the most rudest individual I have met who was addressing me as “SWEETIE” when I got in they hardly had anything the food looked not fresh I asked her kindly if she has sizzling shrimp & angus steak she said she cooks to order she took my order of half uncooked rice and chow mein and vegetables.. she gave me cold food also more vegetables but no steak and 2 sizzling shrimp which she charged me extra for the steak and shrimp BUT loaded my plate with vegetables. When I asked her about the steak she argued with me that they use portions so she gave me enough steak and shrimp.. she never bothered to look at my plate and her attitude was really nasty she never stopped what she was doing to talk to me as a customer that she charged $12.67 for half sizzling shrimp steak chow mein rice and vegetables which I asked her to use the vegetables in the shrimp and steak so she just scooped all vegetables no steak and 2 shrimp. I might as well paid for a vegetarian plate but she charged me $2.50 extra for steak she never gave me and the 2 shrimp. I will never ever spend my funds at any Panda Express ever because they don’t train their employees to be professional kind and caring to their customers. Also it’s always filthy they are cleaning around you eating spraying cleaning chemicals and so forth. Please don’t support such businesses that don’t care about people...

Went through drive-thru. Ordered our food and pulled forward. Paid, received food, and there was only one fork in the bag. We needed 2 forks. Girl at window insisted forks were in the bag, so I saw 1 fork and assumed she must be right because she was adamant (very rude, talked to me and my husband like we were 3 year olds, we are seniors)that they were in the bag. I pulled away and removed everything from the bag and there was only 1 fork. Pulled back into the line, waited my turn and again said I need a fork . She once again acted as if I was a child. And insisted very patronizing that the fork was in the bag. Then she said, she would check the bag if I pulled forward. What? I was pretty annoyed at her by now so I did use some ugly language(which was wrong of me) When I pulled forward she held the fork hostage, stating that she didn't appreciate my language and she wouldn't serve me again if I cussed. This girl was clearly power tripping. If she would have done her job in the first place, or 2nd, or even 3rd. There would not have been an issue. I love the food at Panda Express and have been there many times and would normally give them 5 stars but they really need to hire people that listen and then do their job. Lobby was closed just after a long workday but drive through open; however pulling a trailer that option wasn’t available for me, not to mention eating rice in the truck is not the most desirable area. I am a plant-based consumer who also eats fish (pescatarian) the only option for me was walnut shrimp 🍤 which wasn’t bad but both the lo mein and fried rice are very fast food like. I love Americanized Chinese food but when all the counter attendants were speaking Spanish and difficult to understand during my next visit while eating in the lobby the following day I was a little disappointed in the manner of professionalism; loudly talking and bringing family members in for visitation while on the clock. Management can make or break a franchise. It’s imperative to keep a clean restaurant and produce a product that is already sub standard and make it hot, fresh and made specific to menu. Food was sitting for longer than I would have liked it to be. I will probably go again because I love the convenience and it was more than likely just a bad day for the workers.
