Over all, it's a nice store and one of the only stores like it in the area, but I've lowered my rating because it is so crowded that it is a nightmare. It's hard to shop when employees are always rearranging and organizing in Home Goods. I know it must be done, but it makes things too crowded. And now, the aisles are so tight that you can barely get a cart down an aisle, let alone two. I found having to maneuver around people and being pushed around by ruder aggressive people to be very stressful. I try to come early before the big crowds arrive, but find that it is still just as crowded with employees blocking the aisles with inventory carts. I've never been able to look at hanging rugs because either an employee is messing with them or other customers have blocked the entire area with their carts. Furniture is often in bad shape and is overpriced. There is much too much tacky holiday decor in the store. There are real people shopping for necessary home products here and no one needs to be drowning in holiday kitsch! I would love more diversity in the clothing too. They tend to get a lot of just a few styles. Would love to see more sleek, modern, casual, muted styles in better fabrics. Less wild patterns and polyester. Most of the clothes suit seniors or teenagers, so whether it's frumpy or scandalous, there isn't...
Read moreDear HomeGoods, I’m writing on behalf of myself and several fellow shoppers who used to frequent the Port Orange location with great enthusiasm. We once loved shopping there, often every two weeks and collectively spent a small fortune decorating and furnishing our homes with your unique selection of furniture, lamps, artwork, and home décor. Unfortunately, that has changed. Our recent visits have been disappointing and frustrating. The store now feels chaotic and cluttered, making it difficult to shop. The charming and inspiring home sections have been largely replaced with snacks, paper goods, and generic items that we can find anywhere else. To be honest, it's no longer the enjoyable experience it used to be — and that’s why you’ve lost us as customers. Our last visit, just two weeks ago, was particularly upsetting. We saw a customer in a wheelchair struggling to get through the aisles because of how packed and disorganized the store had become. That was the final straw. We miss the HomeGoods we once loved, the curated home treasures, the inviting atmosphere, and the excitement of finding something special. We hope you’ll take this feedback seriously and consider returning to the standards that made HomeGoods so unique in the first place. Sincerely a...
Read moreAwesome store and the only Home Goods in the area within a good distance. I absolutely love the open concept between Marshall's and Home Goods. I can get everything I want with just 1 stop.
Staff are always friendly. I went this evening (a Tuesday around 7:30pm) and one Staff member happened to walk past me and asked "Good evening, how are you?" with a big smile as she continued to walk. It's the little things, truly, and it shows that she enjoys what she's doing.
I tend to go here in the evening after work to avoid the mad rush and crowds so I never have a big issue checking out quickly.
Stock has gotten a lot better. I bought an amazing 100% cotton comforter set that retails for over $400 online, Brooks Brothers turkish towels, and lots of other high quality goodies for a fraction of the price. I travel 40 minutes to get here but it's worth it every time.
Keep up the...
