I came to antique store just for browse around but ended up i had a coffee at Mercantile Coffee Company. The smells from the oven made me decide to stop by. It's was very tempting :).
My husband ordered Candy Cane Latte (espresso and peppermint bark), and for myself i ordered Late It Snow (white chocolate, white coffee and salted caramel) and Vegan scone (apple, cinnamon and brown sugar).
Honestly, i had no idea why i chose Let It Snow because i'm not a fan of white chocolate and salted caramel. Fortunately, no regret at all! These three combination made the drink so unique which i couldn't describe further more. Fantastic!
I'm a sweet tooth, so it was hard for me to choose selection of bakeries. I picked vegan scone because i think this is something different. Once again, i did a perfect choice. Scone was delicious, soft and freshly baked.
Sitting there and having a drink in autumn or winter hit a different feeling. It's so cosy and very relaxing.
I'll definitely come again in...
Read moreI LOVE this coffee shop! It has upgraded my tastebuds as their coffee (which is roasted in Poulsbo) is so smooth. I can no longer drink the big chain franchise coffee.
The baristas are wonderful. They will recommend drinks and make sure you are satisfied with how things taste. The scones are THE BEST I have ever tasted. The tuscan (with mozzarella, pesto, and sun dried tomatoes) is one of my faves. The cranberry white chocolate is a seasonal flavor and also soooo delicious.
Their tag line is "Where coffee meets community" and this is so fitting. I've met so many Kitsap residents and neighbors while sipping on some coffee here. The ambience is welcoming and I love that I can do some shopping at Josephine's and Revival while I am here.
I love to support small, local businesses. If you have not been here - you should definitely come check them out. The manager, Hallie, is like a ray of sunshine and is guaranteed to...
Read moreWe decided to try this little spot after an hour of shopping at Josephine’s, as we loved the previous cafe in this space, and we were craving a treat. The seating area was quite cute, and the barista was incredibly kind and engaging. We were really happy with our chosen sweet treats, the cookie really spectacular (especially when warned-up). We were a little disappointed to be asked to pay money for an iced water that ended-up coming from the tap (especially since we were ordering other items - and the water was not good - it was used to water some outdoor plants), but nonetheless, overall the experience was a good one. We look forward to visiting again and trying other menu offerings.
Pro-Tip: Around closing time, the cafe offers a discount on baked goods. We had no idea when we visited, but we were thrilled to...
