We have been going to this Hooters for many years. Due to the incompetent help it will probably be our last visit along with dry fish and appetizers served at the same time as our meal. It was the worst service I have ever had. I should not have to ask 3 times for silverware and napkins. Our appetizers came out at the same time with our food even though our waitress asked do you want the appetizers 1st. I asked to speak to the Manager when all the food came out at once and we still had no silverware or napkins. The manager did make her way over to the table just after our food came out and gave several excuses for why it wasn't done correctly. I explained to the manager the server even specifically asked if we wanted the appetizers 1st. The Managers excuse was that this is a fairly new server and she gave her a bigger area to take on. She did apologize and take off the appetizers. The servers excuse was we are short staffed and the Mamager said no. So which is it short staffed or incompetent help. There appeared to be plenty of staff socializing where the greeter station is Located.

My grouper sandwich was dry and crusty and my husband ordered grilled Mahi Mahi but they both looked like the same fish. In addition his fish was dry and crusty also. If I am gonna spend over $14 on a grouper sandwich it better look good. The best thing on the plate was the cole slaw. We had a Corona light bottled and a Pepsi but got charged for 2 beers. So we had to have them make an adjustment to the bill again. We were never asked by the server would you like another beer or refill on your Pepsi. Or can I get these dishes out of your way! Even after i asked for the check the dirty dishes still sat on the table.

When I looked at the bill I noticed 2 charges for bottled beer. Our server said oh i took care of it and put it in wrong. She wasn't told this till after my husband took the bill up to the Manager and i said something. So our server is a liar or incompetent or both. Our server never picked up the dishes even after the bill was adjusted a 2nd time. If you are gonna train people do it correctly. Also, if you are gonna change your menu make it known you are still on a limited menu and stop using the Corona Virus for every excuse in mistakes that can easily be avoided with proper training and good management. These are simple mistakes that should not be made. Bad service all the way around including the food. We have endorsed Hooters on the water for over 15 years and even when everything was take out only we still got our food to go from Hooters. Now a days people work way to hard to spend there money on bad food and below standard food staff. Hooters get your...

I have been going to this Hooters since it opened in 1988. It has changed a lot since then, but a lot has stayed the same.

I still love to go there to watch the boats go by, the dolphins and other sea live play in the water and just enjoy nature as I eat. Although, I do miss watching the waitresses, go out on the boat dock to take orders and serve the people on the boats. It was always such a unique thing. I've never saw another restaurant with boat parking in the middle of the seating area where you could be served and eat on your boat. When I was a kid this Hooters was unquestionably a family restaurant. There was always kids running around everywhere whenever I went. There was games to be played in a giant tree in the middle of the restaurant, which is still there that they used to let us climb, but no more can you climb that tree. The seating at the restaurant hasn't changed since it's beginning one small section inside that's always felt like a sports bar and then the outside section which is at least four times the size that's the area you want to sit. Take one of the big picnic tables along the water. I would always wait a little longer if had to get one of these tables. Sitting on more interior, although still outside and enjoyable, just doesn't have the same feel. If you have to wait for a table, it's not a bad weight like other places there's a park next-door and I like to go wait in the park until it's time for my table to be ready. There's also some other interesting things like the boat docs in the fisheries to look at. I must say even on busy days waiting for a table has never been a draw. It's always been enjoyable because the atmosphere around the restaurant is just as nice as when you're in the seating area outside. When this Hooters was first built, there was a giant fireplace in the middle. It must've been 6’ long x 4' wide. I remember in the winter time when it was cold all the Hooters girls and even the Hooters boys that moment in time when they had male servers, would huddle by the fireplace to get warm. However, they removed the fireplace in replaced it with a bar and I often wonder what the girls do when they're cold. How do they stay warm? It's something that always bothered me since they removed the fireplace. Also, I don't like the bar it makes it feel more like a sports bar than the family restaurant that at once was. All in all, I recommend this Hooters if you want an unique dining experience with a wonderful natural environment, where you cannot only get good food, but feel it one...

We came in town from Tn to surprise my brother for his birthday who lives here.Ill start by the glare from the water was blinding but no big deal but there was a cat that swatted one of the kids. The worst part was our server and her attitude and service, Brianna. We was there about 2.5 hours and they were not busy. Our server had an attitude and we literally had to ask 3-5 times for everything.she never offered a refil we had to ask multiple times and she gave an attitude each time. Anything she threw away she chunked in the garbage. We had to ask for plates twice for the 50 wings we ordered she slammed them on the table. We asked her to clear some of the dishes off from appetizers which she removed only two plates with an attitude and mind you it was a small table by the water with 8 people. It was to a point we had to put stuff on the ground and when the table behind us left we started putting stuff on that table because she would not prebus anything. We had ordered two sides of cheese with fries only got one we reminded her of the second but by the time she brought it the fries were gone and we did get charged for it.I had ordered a mixed drink and the ice was melted within 5 minutes never offered more ice or a water or anything she cut you off before you could even finish telling her what we needed. This was probily the worst service we have had anywhere. She clearly was having a horrible day or doesn’t like her job. She was rude and had an attitude the whole time and acted like we was a bother anytime we asked for anything and towards the end the manager started getting our drinks ect but never apologized or even offer a discount but there is no way she couldn’t have seen what was going on but I did not want to damper the celebration so I didn’t complain although everyone at the table was complaining about her. The only good thing I have to say is the food was good.our bill was over $200 and there was a seperate bill in our table also but I don’t know how much theirs were but it was not...
