Dunkin' — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

11/27/18 ~ It is absolutely freezing here in South Florida and a great time to get some hot coffee and maybe a Donut or two. We initially went through the drive thru but it was nearing 6pm and it was already dark outside so it was alittle hard to see the menu board (they need to update the plastic cover around the menu) so we informed the man we would be coming in instead. Well, he starts to tell us that it's a Dunkin' Donuts policy that if we already pulled up to the drive thru we were not permitted to go inside, we have to place our order there! I look at my Son and he looks at me, we had never heard such a thing! I was about to start videotaping because the next thing he says is if we try to come inside the Dunkin' Donuts Police will stop us, wait, what? At that point I know it was a joke and then you hear a girl's voice saying, he's kidding, as we all had a good laugh! So we go inside and were still laughing as we meet the guy with a really good sense of humor, Ronald and the gal that's working there too, Teddi. It's very refreshing to meet 2 funny and friendly employees that obviously love thier jobs! I have never been inside this particular Dunkin' Donuts, so as I always do when entering a new establishment, I start snapping away so I can bring each store to viewers on Google looking for a good Coffee or donut deal. And without going in we would not of know that Medium Cappuccinos and Lattes are ONLY $2 from 2pm - 6pm! So, of course we got one of each! We also tried one of thier Holiday Donuts (it was a white glaze with giant Chocolate chips), I also ordered the Donut Fries (they look like extra thick French fries but they have Cinnamon sugar on them) we also ordered 6 donut holes, and my Son had to have the Hash browns that he claims are the best out of all fast food! We had alot of laughs with Ronald and Teddi they were so much fun! Now, we didn't eat anything until we got home just 3 minutes away. I will say I was Not impressed at all with those Donut Fries! In fact, they tasted stale and were very hard, and hard to chew too! The donut holes also were past thier sell time if it was up to me, they too seemed stale. My Son's hash browns were very good and the special large Choc chip Donut was okay. I gave 5 stars because of how much FUN the 2 employees had with us! However, the Donuts are only worth 2 stars, sorry! And thier opened until 10pm, may I recommend that NEW Donuts be offered for later day/night customers?! See you next time...

If I could give a negative I would! Not my first bad experience with this location but had not been there in a while and was on the way home and craving a Boston Creme Donut so pulled in. Since it was close to dinner time I decided I would try their new smoked sausage sandwich and a frozen caramel coffee. Ordered 2 sandwiches,the frozen and the Boston. They did not have Boston cream. I ordered a jelly. They did not have jelly. This is Dunkin Donuts I said, how can you not have donuts? Anyway that is the least of my adventure. $13.00 later. I took a drink of the frozen caramel coffe!!OMG! It tastes like pure burned coffee!! They must have had a pot sitting for a while and used that for my frozen! Their coffee isnt even that strong! Horrible! Had I not been 2 block away when I tasted it I would have gone back. So figured my loss of almost $3.00. So I ate my sandwich! My smoked sausage was still cold and the egg also. Not only was it cold but it was watery from not being completely thawed out! Will NEVER go to this store again! Should have known better!...

Usually my go to DD's but this past visit I went through the drive thru and drove all the way home to find that my sandwich was missing. So I drive all the way back and went inside because there was a long line and no customers inside. So I go to the girl at the counter and explain what happened and she told the drive thru girls and they were complaining why didnt I go thtough the drive thru that it was a drive thru issue and so the manager was very nice and gave me my missing sandwich but then turned around and made comments everything is gonna be ok were gonna get through this and im like are you serious its just a sandwich. Im personally an executive chef and if this situation happened to my customers i wouldn't corrected without any comments or issues and stopped my employees right away with their comments infront of a customer. I personally felt bad for the counter girls cause they were embarrassed. I was like if they checked the bag and made sure all the food was there I wouldn't had...
