Ordered for pick-up. Here is my experience: When I arrived, a pleasant young lady greeted me, asked my name, and informed me that the order was not yet ready. I was a few minutes early, so nbd. After a few minutes, a bag was brought from the back and placed on the counter by the register. At the same time, another customer came in to order. Here's where it gets a little weird. The young lady that had greeted me, asked me again how she could help me, as if she had not yet met me. She had apparently forgotten our earlier exchange from 5 minutes ago. I again informed her that I was waiting to pick up my order, gave her my name, AGAIN, and then she looked at the bag next to her, grabbed it, and handed it to me. I left perplexed, but figured the place is new, so some bugs might need to be worked out. Plus, who knows what kind of day this person had had. When I returned home, I opened the bag and took out the contents. We ordered: 1 pint Wonton Soup 2 Spring Rolls 1 pint Shrimp Lomein 1 pint Bourbon Chicken w/ fried rice The fried rice was missing. 😟 I called and the young lady apologised and said that on my next order, I will receive the fried rice. I understand. Mistakes happen. On to dinner! Here are my impressions of the food, beginning with the Wonton soup. Meh. It was kind of bland, with only 3 wontons. 5/10 Spring roll: Okay. A nice crisp on the outside. A little light on the veggies inside and a bit greasy from deep frying. 7/10 Shrimp Lomein: Good flavor profile, and a decent amount of medium-sized shrimp, but the noodles were overcooked severely. 6/10 Bourbon Chicken: Huge disappointment here. (missing rice not withstanding) The chicken was overcooked and chewy, if not jerky-like. The sauce was okay; sweet, with very little actual "bourbon" flavor. There were no vegetables of any kind in this dish. Just chicken and sauce, and not really very much sauce. 3/10 I have had numerous take-out Chinese meals over the years. This one ranks near the bottom, I'm afraid. I will try them one more time to see if there is any...
Read moreWe had an appointment in Port St. Lucie, and hubby suggested we get lunch afterward, suggesting this new restaurant with great reviews.
The staff was welcoming, the interior was bright and clean with an "East Asia meets Bistro" decor Gentle, East-Asian contemporary music, based on regional classics, played in the background, lending to the atmosphere.
The menu, both lunch and dinner versions, is not the "giant, endless" menu, but a concise set of thoughtful selections, from standards like Lo mein, and also Asian fusion, like the Curry Prawns my husband ordered (and which were not mere heat, but intense flavor).
Vegetarians and Vegans - there's not a menu section for us, but true to East Asian style, ask the waitstaff about options. They always have them and are happy to offer options and make useful suggestions.
Our waiter did that for me, careful to point out that their standard fried rice contains pork, and he then judiciously steered me towards plain rice to go with my order.
The Egg Foo Young I got was plentiful, packed with fresh, good quality vegetables we don't often see in that dish: broccoli flowerettes, white onion, scallion, and water chestnut. A delicious combo smothered in thick, tasty, onion-based gravy.
Be aware that the beverage selection comes in sealed bottles from national brands and is served with a glass and ice.
If you enjoy expertly prepared Chinese-American standards and innovative Asian bistro selections, this is for you! 🥢🥡🍚

Read moreMy husband saw a review on Next Door, so we decided to give it a try. What an awesome meal! Excellent food, excellent, friendly service, clean and attractive atmosphere! My husband had the sesame chicken dinner special. He was extremely pleased with his dinner! I had a taste. It was flavorful and not too sweet, large chunks of chicken. Just right! Large portions! I had the sauteed vegetable and chicken dinner special. Again absolutely delicious and full of good veggies and white breast meat chicken! The hot and sour soup was the best I've had in years! A generous bowl, loaded with various mushrooms and tofu and not too spicy. Just right! The eggroll was light and crispy! Service was excellent! My husband ordered a Coke. The server brought a can of Coke, with a glass of ice to the table, where she opened the can in front of him and poured some into his glass. She left the can for him to drink the rest of it when he finished the glass she poured. Even the regular dinner menus were of the quality you would expect in a high-end restaurant. Numerous dinner specials were on a separate, laminated sheet. We will definitely go back. We were so happy with our dinner experience! Definitely quality food! We needed a good, sit-down Chinese restaurant here in PSL and now we have one! Conveniently located on the corner of US1 and Village Green Dr. behind the 7 Eleven. Open 7...
