I used to enjoy going to this nightclub when it was called Cielito. At first, there was no cover charge, and the music was great. I even spoke to someone who I believe is a part owner, asking if it would be possible to add more toilets to the women’s bathroom. He mentioned that it would be too expensive.
However, things have taken a turn for the worse. They now charge a $10 cover fee, and while they still have just one toilet, the last time I went to the restroom, there was no air conditioning—extremely uncomfortable. I spoke to the man I had spoken with before, and he was incredibly rude. He said he didn’t want to spend extra money on electricity and implied that women should just go in and out quickly.
This behavior is unacceptable, and the music has become worse over time. This will definitely be my last visit. It’s disappointing because it’s one of the only Latin nightclubs in the area, and they clearly take advantage of that. I do not recommend this place, especially for...
Read moreI'm from Broward County and there are a lot of places like this off in the cut which I love, reminds me of Piccadilly Ballroom on 441 and Oakland Park back in the late 90s. The music was excellent, I saw the birthday party Vibe that's cool to know you can do that and my company had reservations so you didn't have too much of an issue. The Vape and edible store next door is great if you just want to step out and get to pick me up. Only thing I can complain about was that I felt there could have been more menu items but maybe I'll go another time to find out if there is. For a Friday night or Saturday and a little older crowd I think this is awesome. Maybe an event once or twice a month advertised on social media would be good especially at the...
Read moreDon Marco, formally known as Cielo lounge was a very popular spot for salsa music and dancing. unfortunately it has been taken over by some other promoters or DJs and all they play is South American music. Now I’m in for some Cuban Colombian, any kind of music and I enjoy it. but when you advertise that Friday and Saturday nights is salsa and Bachata night, you must play the correct music. Not speed up a Marc Anthony song and expect to be able to dance. The one song played was on high speed. Stop advertising “Salsa” if the DJ doesn’t play the appropriate music even after he was given suggestions. Knowledge is power! DJ must be able to play/know the difference in...
