I'll start off by saying that earlier in life I was a server and trainer for fine dining restaurants and country clubs so maybe I'm critical of certain things. At the same time we ordered drinks we also ordered our appetizers, they arrived approximately 25 to 30 minutes later, mine (chorizo) took an additional 5 minutes so the rest of the table was halfway done with theirs. We then ordered our entrees which took approximately 40 to 45 minutes to arrive. As we finished meals everything was prebussed off of our table and it still took our server an additional 10 to 15 minutes to offer desserts then an ADDITIONAL 10 to 15 minutes to come back and actually ask if anyone was interested, mind you the entire time she is standing behind the bar socializing. I lost interest and just wanted to get out of here because at this point I'm 2 hours and only 2 courses in. I did however need to use the restroom so (mind you the restaurant is not busy and staff is just standing around in or around the bar area, including the owner whom is talking to a buddy at the bar) also, the restroom is literally right next to this bar. As I walk into the restroom there is dried urine all over the floor in front of the toilet. So you have your entire staff standing around and not one person checks to make sure your facilities are clean. I will say that the food is great, steak was a little over cooked but not wasn't going to even attempt to wait another 40 minutes for a replacement. Maybe this is the culture of the restaurant, having a laid back no rush atmosphere but it definitely was not a great experience...
Read moreWe go here often. Food is always on point but unfortunately the service has dropped due to one employee. Young lady with dark hair pulled back in a pony tail with glasses. Now if we eat in (best to have a reservation) we no longer want her to be our waitress due to her bad attitude and poor service. I called to place an order was on hold for 45mins then we tried calling over and over and got a busy signal. So we decided to go there. We asked to speak to a manager or the owner Fernando because of the wait time on hold to place our order. The young lady with glass told me that they do not take orders over the phone and laughed in my face. This is NOT the first time we have had BAD experience with her and she lied about not taking orders over the phone because we have order before many time. I lost my cool and wanted to speak to someone. James the manager came out to help me. He knows us because we go there often with different family members that come to visit. I told him I lost my cool because she laughed in my face. He apologized for her behavior and apologized for the phone keeping me on hold and explained to us it's the phone service issues. Read moreThe waitress, was so rude, didn't wait on our table often. We ordered drinks which weren't refilled. Food was cold and no one came over to help us; we had to find a waiter of a different table to help. Our waitress clearly didn't want to be there and was aggressive when asking questions about the menu. This was a very special birthday dinner, and to be so disappointed after being ignored and treated rudely by the waitress, I am so sad that the hospitality here ruined what was supposed to be a fine dining evening. That was my second time with this waitress and had the same terrible experience so I did ask for management. The manager refused to listen to us or even give us anything off due to our poor experience and justified the woman's behavior. I think she was part owner or related to the owner, I found out later from other restaurant owners if it's the same person, which explains justifying her behavior but if you're going to spend money on this kind of food, the treatment should be hospitable and definitely not rude.
