I ordered my usual pizza saved in my favs, via the app, as I normally do. The instructions are the same: (Do not knock, instead call). After an hour of waiting I call the store. I'm told that there computer sometimes has glitches with the app, they never received my order, and are now closing. I was also told to call in the morning for a free pizza. The next morning I'm awoken by multiple ringing door bell chimes, followed by a phone call. Apparently it's a papa johns rep that says she's outside, and I have to pay them for the pizza I ordered. After explaining it was last night's app order, and that it's supposed to be free, she then hangs up on me. As I walk to the front of the house, I watch her speed off. I quickly text the number that called me saying: if she turns around, not only would I pay for the pizza, I would still tip her very well. Well she never replied, and kept driving. I called the store they appologized and said they would make me another one, and would even have it delivered. I was a little reluctant, but I agreed, explaining that I wanted to take care of the driver for making a double trip. I was planning on tipping her $20, and apologize for the confusion. She shows up and once again wakes everyone up ringing the doorbell instead of calling. I open the door, she had an attitude with me, and looked like a pill head. The box was partially open. I went to tip her she said no thank you, and walked off quickly. To make matters worse the pizza was cold and tasted like it was the first one she tried deliver earlier that morning and make me pay for. This place sucks, I will never order from...

Read moreEvery now and then you have to order from somewhere you haven't eaten in a couple years just to confirm to yourself.... Yep it's still not worth it. Never know where Papa John's went downhill because I used to consider them the best pizza. Must be the twilight zone now since Dominos is decent and Papa John's is the bottom of the barrel. Put it in fridge with hope that it might be better the next day since it was barely eaten by any of my family tonight. Well maybe I'll try it again in a couple more years hoping it gets better but for being 20 bucks more than Domino's for similar amount of food I'll probably pass.
Update: Tried it again tonight after another year because Shaq pepperoni pizza was on sale 12.99 for extra large pizza. Complete garbage. Could barely eat since was so greasy. I regret paying 50 bucks for 2 pizzas and garlic knots. Should have read my own review and gone to Dominos or Marcos instead. This company has just gone so far downhill. We order pizza at least twice a month and it won't be from Papa...
