Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

I don’t plan on going back to any Tropical Smoothie location after my experience yesterday. I ordered the açaí bowl as I have been a couple times a week for about a month at different locations. Shortly after finishing the bowl that was made at this location, my stomach did not feel well. As I was driving I threw up on my dress, cardigan, car seat, car floor, and even inside of my purse. Absolutely embarrassing and disgusting because I have never thrown up in my life. I will never know if the bowl was cross-contaminated or the fruit was rotten or the açaí wasn’t frozen within the proper time, etc. I threw up 3 more times throughout the day. Never again. App deleted. I cannot risk that incident...

Ordered through Uber Eats. New corn was delivered without a lid on the container, instead the container was in a plastic bag. This bag was not sealed, so it leaked all of the seasoning out of the corn and all over the inside of the bag with my sandwich. Also ordered, and paid for, extra bacon on a flatbread that was supposed to already contain bacon. Sadly, the sandwich had just one soggy piece of bacon on it. The smoothies were good as expected, but they missed the chia seeds I requested. I am guessing that they probably didn't add the other items I paid for either at this point. Highly recommend this location!! Best location in Port Saint Lucie hands down!! Staff is always so friendly & the food is always fresh. We get big catering orders from this location frequently for our office and the big orders are ALWAYS on time & everything is correct. Sara, one of the people that are in charge of this location is amazing! She is always in there working hard and makes sure everything is orderly and perfect for our catering orders. Location is very clean as well. I drive an extra 10 minutes out of my way on my way to work to come to this location instead of the one that’s right by my house. Thanks guys...
