Cato Fashions — Local services in Port Saint Lucie

I used to come here very frequently in the past 4 years I've lived here. This was one of my go-to stores, never had a problem with this place at all—until one weird day. My mom and I simply wanted to return some earrings while the manager and a manager and very combative employee were currently working on staff. While I personally wasn't there when they got into it with my mom for whatever reason, I came in wanting to start fresh and not wanting to cause any more altercations, said hi how are you (of which the manager seemed very resistant to even respond to) but the two of them immediately started ramping it up with my mom again even though she was standing behind me, not even the one being serviced, and not talking to them. They were the ones escalating the situation again, and that was my first time ever having to raise my voice in public to stop STORE ASSOCIATES from fighting with customers. The store employee specifically, blonde, pale, and seemed to like vintage aesthetic, just seemed to take offense to anything (I had said "Just go back to what you were doing before," after I had barely placated everyone, and she screamed "excuse me?!" For some reason...?)

The fact that I had to reign these two idiots was bad enough, but then the manager started turning her vitriol towards me. She was an old looking crone, one of those old ladies that you can look at and just tell from how they carry themselves that they're rude. Again, I didn't do anything to aggravate the situation, and did everything in my power to deescalate a fight they started up again, but she was very nasty and rude to me afterwards and tried to collect my personal information. When I pointed out that she should not need my personal address for a simple return of cheap, broken earrings, she screamed at me that if I didn't want to give it up then she can't help me. I have visited several stores with my wife and I have to say that the experience at this store and quality of the clothing has been the best compared to others I had visited that day.
