I currently work at Blaze. Blaze has online orders in which you can pick up the orders, and just like any other restaurant - we have mealtime rush. I say this because customer service is important in restaurants.
Apparently, this Starbucks doesn't care about service customer service - because it is HORRIBLE here. Whatever you do, don't put in an online order as you run the risk of it not going through and they just... don't care. The staff will take other orders (online and otherwise) and ignore you while you wait and when say they finally get around to helping you, after they ask your name and order, it'll take a minute to find the order. Then they'll essentially day 'Orders get lost sometimes, ya know? It's weird...it happens, nothing we can do'
This is IF the order gets lost; I've never gone in to order from this location.
It's obviously not a guarantee that this will happen to you. But I placed an order 20 minutes before I arrived and my drink wasn't ready; I made it clear that I needed it now (I was gonna be late for work) but they didn't seem to care. They were ignoring me and seemed to nearly forget about me (somehow; I don't know how since I was talking and standing at the counter) - then when they seemed to remember that I was there, they took a few minutes to find my order them a little longer to make my drink without an apology or a single kind word. I wasn't a person; I was an item to be checked off a list...
(Btw - I was 10 minutes late to work. I got a write up because they can't do one simple thing: make coffee in 3 minutes)
I was appalled by that customer service and will never go to that location again. The location in Barnes and Noble is much better. Their customer service is at least 10x better than the location on Ruth & Westnedge (unfortunately, the Barnes and Noble location is smaller so their selection...
Read moreI purchased two specialty drinks and a grilled cheese sandwich. The grilled cheese was very mediocre for $6.45. The bread was chewy and mimicked biting into a taffy. The cheese combination wasn’t the best for a wholesome grill cheese. The mozzarella should give some sort of cheesy pull yet lacked. The white cheddar didn’t add much to be desired. The main show-stopper was the parmesan spread which you could taste well. I would even say that the sandwich may have been sitting for a while and was warmed up when I ordered. The young lady at the cash register lacked customer service greetings, lack good communication as to what could not be added when ordering specialty drinks. Ordered a non-coffee brownie frappe and the person at the register rang it up as tho they could make it. Then after starting the drink, she handed the brownie in a bag to me. I started the brownie should go into the drink in case she forgot, she said oh, we don’t add food to drinks. Better service would be to tell a customer in the beginning that they can’t do it and give them the option to have a drink or cancel the drink. The second drink was made well ( strawberry cream frappe no coffee). Had to ask for a receipt and also stated thank you. However, I feel the cashier should be telling me to thank you since I was purchasing from that store. FYI: this was also a slow time on a Sunday...
Read moreUpdate: Unfortunately the service has not been the best if you place an order online. For some reason the customers in store are always prioritized even if you order ahead of time. It's a little annoying when you go there and your coffee is sitting on the other side for like a good ten minutes before an employee finally pays attention. I mean nobody wants a warm cold coffee or vice versa after paying quite a bit. It will be really nice if employees pay attention to the people waiting at pick up instead of stocking cups etc or attending customers who just walk in.
Finally went to this Starbucks location after passing it almost everyday. It's a relatively new Starbucks considering it opened up 3 years ago. It's surprisingly spacious from inside and very well kept. The drive-thru is really big and not cramped up like most coffee shops. The service is good and my coffee was good although it wasn't the best. I am a big fan of Iced Mocha Frappe and and felt that mine could have been a little bit better. It was lacking the crushed icy part.
There is enough parking for a coffee shop. I personally feel like gloves & Masks should be mandated where people prepare food or get in contact with food items irrespective of covid. This should be a Industry standard.
It was an overall good experience. Good place to relax after a busy day or on weekends. Will...
