First, let me start by saying, I can't post this, ideally to help the reader avoid this place, without quantifying the terrible experience (yet again) I had at Burger King with a Star. Why is ZERO starts not an option, they certainly earned it. I Decided to go there today after last week's diabolical of attempting to order through the app. I continuous ordered a certain item, THROUGH the app to receive the message, "this item can only be ordered through the app." Needless to say, I did not order or get to take part in 'Whopper Wednesday'. After a strongly worded email to the company, request they step down from the crown, and perhaps take on the persona of Burger Guy, a response was received offering a very insincerely written apology with a $5 gift certificate.
Well, it's Wednesday again. The idea of 'Whopper Wednesday' still sounding appealing, another attempt was made. Of course this time the app wouldn't load. Their fault? My fault, bad phone service? Possibly. Regardless, I drove to the nearest location and asked if I could still take advantage of 'Whopper Wednesday'. After telling the worker I was pulling around because the drive-through speaker wasn't working well. I managed to acquire about a gallon of rain in my car while ordering - because BK can't spring for an overhang to help protect their customers while it is pouring rain, to be told that it is an app-only deal.
I understood and ordered something different. I return to work to find, or rather NOT find, ANY ketchup for my fries or napkins. Hello, BK, this is AMERICA (to quote Childish Gambino) we, as a majority, consume our fries with ketchup. We ALL certainly use napkins. What is next? "Sir, would you like us to wrap your sandwich or just throw it in a bag?" So they can save a few more cents. Cents saved from the now over-priced menu.
So, to recap, opened bag: No Ketchup No Napkins Cold Fries And two Buy 2 for $5 "King" Quarter Pounders
The "quarter pounders" didn't seem to weigh a quarter of a pound (and I get that's pre-cook weight). The quarter pounder was so bad, so bad, so bad, that I simply threw the second one away.
Well, I've been wanting to get back into shape. BK you just made my goal so much easier to obtain. I WILL not be eating any more BK again.
However, Taco Bell officially (May 19, 2022) re-releases their Mexican Pizza, one of the best things on their menu. So, I suggest, if you have a craving for some fast food, give Taco Bell's Mexican Pizza a try, if you are not already in love with it. Don't waste your time at BK. Sell any stock you have, that is the only way BK will ever do...
Read moreAbout months before the two month remodel process BK number #1333, my uncle takes me to burger king everyday for lunch for a year now. Everyone was very thorough with everyone's orders. When I went in there back in April 2023, I did not know what burger king is at the time. So every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays late mornings to early afternoons we go there for lunch. I've been getting my usually whoppers. I have also been ordering ahead on the app for dine in so that I can walk in and eat after the online order has been placed, I've been getting Cheeseburgers Whoppers, Milkshakes, Fries, Chicken Nuggets and Chocolate Chip Cookies. Normally about 95% of BK employees never said about "You or We Rule" not once. After the Remodeling there's like tons of Drive Thru orders and hired new employees but I know the problem when they're people in the dine in store. They should take our order, guess what completely ignored the dine in customers that wanted to order food at a Dine In BK. Like Why? I even tried to order food from the BK app, guess what never worked or drive-thru orders only. Really this is a shock. Now they won't take any orders online because they no longer accept any online orders for pick up in store nor having it in person. Frustrating Frustratings. Back then they use to take my name for the name that order a meal, now it's just a number no name. 2/5 is 4/10 for me. Cmon Burger king #1333 do better with your employee(s) of how to take orders in person instead of ignoring the dine in people for...
Read moreI've tried coming to this Burger King multiple times in hopes that they would redeem themselves and I've officially given them their last chance. I literally started by saying I wanted a 2 bacon cheeseburgers only stacker sauce. I waited a few seconds then didn't hear anything so I continued with my order and the guy taking the order stopped me and said "wait did you say a double cheeseburger?" I correct him on what I said, then continue to order a cheeseburger, some nuggets and fries. I asked for ranch with my nuggets and no salt on my fries. I didn't see it on the order screen so I should have double checked before i left, but of course my fries were salted and I had no ranch.
On top of that, there was only 1 car in front of us, but when we got up to the window our food was instantly up. As soon as we pulled it out of the bag and started eating, everything was cold so I can only assume our food had just been sitting there prepped for who knows how long.
I'm a very understanding person and I try to give people and companies the benefit of the doubt, but every SINGLE time I go there, the staff is clueless and unfriendly AND my food is ALWAYS wrong.
I absolutely REFUSE to give this Burger King my service ever again and I highly suggest you take my advice and do the same. I'll drive out of my way and go to the one on Westnedge that's...
