The Honey Baked Ham Company — Restaurant in Portage

Last night, the day before Thanksgiving we realized we had forgot to to pick up our food from honey baked ham. It was literally 5 minutes before they closed when we called and we live 25 min away in Battle Creek. The owner Ray offered to meet us in Galesburg half way between the two and deliver us our food. We met Ray and he was a very cool guy, refusing to accept a generous tip for clearly going out of his way. He saved our thanksgiving !!! Thanks Ray, you understand...

Ham was amazing! Sides not to impressed with... but didn't know they were frozen not freshly made. Loaded mash potato was great, but that's about it. Also for people who prepay have a separate line for smoother and quicker pick up, now if they want to add so.ething they move to the next line for people just purchasing. Loved this place when work would order for events and I feel swindled! Just went out of my way to pay nearly $15 for the meal box and the chicken salad croissant sandwich had more bread than actual chicken salad. I'm not exaggerating when I say there may have been 1oz of it. No pickle and the cookie was half the size of the last time....
