My 3 year old daughter and I just had the best experience ever at Helzberg Diamonds on South Westnedge. They have secured me as a customer for life!
This morning I told Kylah I needed to take my rings to the jeweler to get cleaned and inspected. Their lifetime warranty requires this to happen every six months since it keeps my rings in pristine condition and allows for pieces to be repaired if there are issues.
Kylah wanted to be like mommy today, so she chose to wear one of her rings (a cheap but cute one we got in a multipack for her on Amazon with fake little diamonds and a plastic yellow star gem in the center). While walking through a store before Helzberg opened, Kylah noticed her star gem had fallen out and was no where to be found. She was so upset. I tried reminding her of all the other rings she had at home and told her we could try to find another one for the next special occasion. She was still upset.
When we entered Helzberg, Kylah instantly started lamenting to the associate about her troubles, “My yellow star fell out of my ring! It’s gone!” I further explained the issue and the real reason for our visit so the associate (and Kylah) didn’t get the impression that I expected anything to be done about the fake ring.
However, in the classiest way, the associate told Kylah that she would see what they could do about her problem. They took my rings back for cleaning and Kylah’s directly to the jeweler for a solution. After a few minutes they returned my sparkling clean rings with a surprise repair on Kylah’s - a beautiful little pearl secured in the center in place of the missing gem. I’m guessing it was something extra from an abandoned piece or bound to be discarded, but to Kylah it may as well have been one of the Queen’s own jewels. They even placed it in a real ring box for Kylah to carry out of the store.
This kind gesture was completely unexpected and made for a very special experience for my little girl and me. Her cheap, resizable child’s play ring may have started the day with very little value, but after some love and heart-warming memories were attached to it, it’s now a priceless piece for Kylah to treasure! Thank you for...
Read moreMy husband and I have had VERY good experiences with the customer service reps that know their job. The ones that don't, unfortunately, have been extremely bad experiences. Like..Writing down the wrong size so when I got my wedding rings they were too big, also they were not soldered together as I had asked them to be and also paid for the soldering. That same time, I did not receive a call when the rings were ready the 2nd time. Luckily I didn't need them right away because my amazing husband was just upgrading my wedding set. I did find out though, that they had put a rush on the order because the rep messed it up so it only took two days. Although, after three weeks, I finally called them to see what the holdup was. That was extremely frustrating. At the same time, we wouldn't go any place else to buy our jewelry. The good experiences definitely weigh out the bad. The customer service reps that actually know their job, take very good care of us and our jewelry. When I go into the store and the reps that don't know what they're doing (and are sometimes rude) are working, we leave and come back another day. As for the watches and rings and other jewelry that we have purchased there, we have never had an issue with them, only the service. We are definitely returning customers! ...this weekend were actually going in to purchase a wedding band that I'm able to wear while working in surgery since I'm not able to wear my larger rings. Hopefully, the knowledgeable reps...
Read morePhenomenal location. I found myself in the area visiting a friend for lunch and popped in to get my ring examined and cleaned. I have never seen this type of location before, it is a stand alone store! It is not a part of the the mall/in a mall setting. Anyways walking inside Saturday afternoon around 1pm, it was big, it was clean, and felt bigger than the other stores I usually go to (12 oaks and Great Lakes). Anyways I was greeted promptly and told someone would be with me because everyone was assisting customers. My friend and I were looking at the jewelry while we waited. Finally it was my turn and I handed over my ring and card to get signed. After she finished my ring she cleaned my friend's ring even though it wasn't purchased from there. We both had glistening fun rings. She recommended to try on some bands for my friend, she recently got engaged. I think I feel confident that i can say we may have found her the perfect wedding band, but it is pending the Mr.'s approval. Before we left the store I asked her name. It was Jamie, she was actually the store manager and I had no idea. She was very sweet, really nice, no pressure into buying anything. Let us take our time to look at everything. She had really great recommendations for bands to match my friend's ring. This is prob my favorite location now for Helzberg, I wish I...
